Amazon Strikes

Looks like the teamsters are timing their walk-outs at the most opportune time of the year. Looks like 4 states have so far declared strikes.
Hope everybody, who had planned on sending out Amazon gifts has already done so. I'm glad I didn't wait last minute this year, like I typically do, to send out my usual Amazon gift cards to my siblings' kids!

I don't think LA is affected by the strike. At least, not yet?
I saw 4 states: Commiefornia, New York, and 2 other states I can't recall.

I've never worked for Amazon, but what I do experience is numerous coworkers constantly complaining about how awful our job and our employers are. I've been here for 22 years, and I have never felt our employers have ever been unfair or unreasonable.
Point being: complaining employees are not always indication of terrible working conditions or unfair bosses. Just my 2 cents.

Ppl b*tch more than they praise generally speaking. Esp on line!
I hope ALL this nonsense with inflation and cost of living hikes stops for EVERYONE!
We don't all need to be in a giant rat race in order to live "right".
I believe EVERYONE is about ready for a walk out on some level or another.

i worked at an amazon facility before, my moms been wqorking at one for like 15 years, for me personally it was a decent gig, they do have some goofy expectations of their employees, but its not the worst factory I've ever worked by a long shot.
i buy from them based on shipping times generally, its all owned by either blackrock or vanguard regardless of the store you use, money all goes to the same people in the end

I tell my coworkers that whenever they piss and moan. The majority of these complainers are the younger people. I just feel they are entitled, spoiled, and simply lack work ethics.
Me, I'm grateful, every single day, that I'm fortunate enough to have a wonderful profession and employment!

I warn my boss if he wants me to piss don’t be surprised, but if it’s multiple choice or an essay test I’ll pass
