If it were me, I would get the Pro. It has more power than most will ever need. I really don't like how cheaply made the Plus looks. And I don't like buttons like that. They eventually fail. Just my 2 cents.

I always gotta have a spare charger. I'd sell the Protek and get another Hota!:hehe:

I finally have two chargers where I don't feel I need to look any farther. I use to have four B6/four button type chargers when I first got into LiPo packs back in 2010. I needed to keep the fun going all day long when friends and family came over to play with my toys on the track. Every couple of years I upgraded my chargers to more powerful ones, and I also changed my charging habits to include doing 2C charge rates... 4S & 6S packs need a lot of power. Hopefully, the Hota chargers will give us all years of trouble free performance.
I have never had the need for a discharger. Why do you need one?
Things pop up during a fun day of RCing. Thunderstorm rolls in quickly, and you have a couple of packs that you need to bring down to storage voltage fast. Or, you are out tearing up the track; sun setting too fast, and your run is cut super short, because of misfortune. Can't make it back out to the track, and you need to take care of your pack(s).

Ahh, that makes sense. I guess I never really thought about it. I never have more than a couple packs charged. I am more of a builder and ususlly only run my cars to test mods. My son likes to give them a rip though. But he is usually ready to do something else after a pack or two.
