And it begins 👍

How well to the aluminium cross shafts hold up? I did consider getting some for the Mugen but I felt more confident with steel.

Yessir, we happy. 🤩

Every bit as well as the steel units-likely even better.. Never seen any wear to a GOOD HAIII’d cross shaft. I HAVE seen wear to may steel ones, however.. I prefer them due to reduced driveline weight of course. Big help in low traction conditions-which is 99% of the time for most people..

somehow we need to make this more of a challenge to you....blindfolded ....maybe just use one hand .....you make it look freaking easy....hats off to pal

Well I appreciate that-sometimes as late as I’m up doing this stuff; I might as well BE blindfolded lol.. I’ve just got a lot of years doing it. 🤘😎🍻

The arguable “center piece” to this particular build/upgrade process.. Either it was sold this way, or took a fat gash in shipping.. Nobody will ever see it, and it’s completely encased by the front bumper, but the burr bothers me.. 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

DON'T SHOW THIS TO @Serea71 !!! 😱

I'm getting towards the end of my build and you've only just started, but I know you'll finish yours first and to a lot higher standard.

I hate you.

😉😆

😂

You sir, have bumped your damned head down there! That Mugen is looking TITS.

You’re also having to track down loads of parts, and you work away from home.. I say good on ya for taking your time to turn out a solid whip!

Loving the commentary on your problem solving. Great looking build.
I appreciate it buddy! We may be cut from the same cloth from what I’ve seen, as I feel the same way about your SC10 thread. You might’ve missed the 1st post the actual BUILDING began-with the diff cups modificatin’… 😅

Oh no, I didn’t miss it. I had to take a moment by myself when I saw those figure eights.

The first time I saw a diff cup and gasket in a kit, I was like, “yeah, nah..”.. 😅🤷🏻‍♂️ Been doing it this way for over two decades now-with VERY few exceptions.. I see a lot of things the manufacturer does, that totally upends my sleep cycle lol.. It crazy to me, because I feel like I don’t have an engineering bone in my body.. 😂

I think the majority of it is my hotrod mentality, and just never being able to leave shiit alone in general, lolz..
