Hey guys, i'm new to RC by the way. I have recently upgraded my Tamiya Subaru Impreza 2001 WRC Prototype motor to a new 12t brushed motor. I was just wondering what pinion and spur would be ideal for this motor and the TB-01 chassis it has?

Any help would be great, thanks.

Start out with whatever the stock gearing is and go from there. You can usually find some pinion sets on eBay or Amazon for pretty cheap. The spur again start out stock and adjust pinion size first, then if your still not happy go to a smaller spur for more speed.

So a 12t motor shouldn't wreck this hopefully then, the stock is quite a big one.

stock is a 27t brushed with 22/23 to high 4 12t.id start with 18 or 19.check heat after 1 min then every min after.

Just because i'm sort of new can you repeat this please to make it a little more understanding?
