Velineon Motor Problem

Velineon 1200XL Brushless Problem I have the above motor it’s brand-new but I’m getting a lot of lateral movement in the shaft around 5 mm which makes meshing the Pinion and Spur extremely difficult. All my other motors have a solid shaft with no movement. Is this a problem?

Traxxas may warranty it depending on age, but there are always other options as well.

it’s like two weeks old. I bought it from the shop. Shall I just return it?

Returning it for a direct replacement would be the quickest and easiest solution.

Sounds like a legit issue with a brand new part.
You bought it from a shop? They should also recognize this as a problem.

An exchange unit seems like the most reasonable solution.

I would bring it back.
