Morning all...itching to go swipe another 1/18th crawler...or possibly a 1/10th road warrior...yes, I have a problem.

I want to start exploring other brand options than just Traxxas...where should the next leap take me?
Axial SCX24 and Arrma for speed/bashing.

i have a team associated element ecto, an absolute beast, love it, highly recomend it, we also have an axial basecamp that really loves the climbs,
weve had 2 redcats and both were lackluster ( sorry is my opinion) they have an ascent which has amazing reviews but we havent gotten one.

It’s looking good, the foam actually works very well. I would go ahead and use a clear coat to seal it after you have it all colored to your liking. Any type of clear paint will work, or even clear flex seal, that $hit be expensive though

I built this from cardboard boxes and spray foam.

Where to begin? There’s so many options. I’m thinking affordable…… 1/18 is a good place to start. There’s the redcat, hobbyplus has a furitek powered cr18p now with a tranny that spins the driveshafts in opposite directions which almost eliminates torque twist, hobbyplus also has the cr18evo pro, can’t go wrong with any element 1/10, the element 1/12 doesn’t seem like a good price bargain, any scx10 platform is probably good, and then there’s all your go fasters…… my head will start spinning just thinking of all the tires I will need to buy, for science purposes of course….. 🧐

The good thing about this hobby is there is no shortage of choices. Enjoy and explore new options. I have a lot of different brands and they have all been fun. :thumbs-up: Enjoy your new Power Wagon.

First impressions of first run, stock.

- it out-crawls my trx4m out of the box
- it doesn’t feel as “solid” of a stock build as the trx4m
- it’s going to be a crawling monster if I can make it so

I was flying my spark earlier without the collision mode on and thought this gave a good look at the new bridge I constructed the last few days. It goes over my short track, right after the jump...and of course the Dark Souls Plateau in the background muwhahaha
