Update. Tuesday Mrs Doom was in pain and cranky, Last night she was looking pretty good, and in better spirits. This morning they had to go in and clean out an abscess and added yet another drain. Really hoping this doesn't add another setback. She is really trying, but it would be great to go more than three days without them having to do something to her. UGH! We really need to make a little more progress instead of two steps forward, two steps back.

Hang in there you two-definitely some progress compared to earlier on.. The “BS Shuffle” is definitely a poopy dance to be a part of, so I know it’s beyond frustrating for you both.. Thanks for updating all of us, and it’s tremendous to hear she’s at LEAST having some moments where she’s in less pain, and BS.. Keep that head up!

She had a rough day but still looked good tonight, she started weaning herself off the pain meds. Her doctor told her this whole process of putting her back together could take up to 6 months. I'm hoping she will get to come home soon. All we are waiting for is for them to get her infection under control. I think at this point she would kill for a full nights sleep.

Its crazy how hard it is to get sleep in a hospital with the poking and testing and such.
I would stay up all night and sleep all day.
The Drs didn't care for that much but I got to talk to all the pretty nurses all night.
I picked my battles.
