Picked up a virtually brand new DBXL-E 2.0 for $425!!!! About $1500-1800 worth of stuff..
He only ran it on asphalt about half a dozen times.. This thing is CLEAN!!
It came with two sets of tires and a set of 4s packs. He also put about $300 buck worth of Integy crap on there.. I’ll definitely be removing the aluminum arms.

I’m so pumped I could scream!! I’ve wanted one for a very long time! Happy birthday to me!!

Yah, good score. It's what you call a motivated seller, and that's how it should be. I see stuff that is obviously used and people are knocking 20% off the full price? That's called a sale. The rule of thumb is 50% of the original value IF it's in good condition.

BTW you probably didn't account for taxes and shipping in your value estimate, so take on another $150 to that.

I really miss making stuff like that. Looks nice! They cut a few corners on the surfacing toolpaths though. And their pocketing path stopped before finishing the pocket. Kinda strange. Wonder if a tool broke, or if they just forgot to run the floor finish path

Funny you should mention that, I was just looking it over pretty hard and noticed the same thing. Strange..

Pics of the inside. I have pretty big hands, so this is a fairly large piece.

Sweet. Yeah, there are a few areas where they could add a debur path using a reverse countersink tool. But an impressive chunk of aluminum. Run around it with a fine stone and get those burrs cleaned up so they don't end up being the monkey wrench in the machine

When I finished machining something, I created debur toolpaths to clean everything up. I really hated wearing aluminum shavings after deburring parts manually.

I always said "If you can't lick the whole part like a lolipop without getting cut, the part ain't done machining"

Upon attempting to install the new Vitavon front bulkhead I discovered more broken stuff than I was aware of.
Apparently the front chassis brace top plate is broken and the front hinge pin brace is bent.

Already knew about the bulkhead but here’s a better pic of what broke.

Beautiful new Vitavon pieces on the way!
