So I’m doing my steering on my buggy you can’t get any closer to this on the wheels

OOHhh , damn

you will scratch these wheels bad first run :)

I did have 3.0/2.2 on my Mojave once. It was like this.
The wheels did not look good after one run because stones/sand grinding hard
I did go back to stock 3.2 size fast :)

You should also shorten that steering linkage screw a little bit
I would use a shiny stainless steel screw, not 12.9grade , because you need something that have weak point when you have full alloy build
to avoid bend stuff when you do bad landings or smaller crashes
