Laugh all you want, but that is a Herman Miller Mira chair, and it's the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. The bare-bones version of these were $850 and depending on options could go up in to the $1300+ range. With all the adjustments and stuff you can do to them, it's like sitting in a BMW or something. We have these at work, but I ain't paying that much for a chair, so I bought mine used from one of those places online that resells office furniture for $425. If you buy them new, they come with 12 year warranties and onsite repair. The one I have at work is almost 17 years old and still going strong.

It does look like a laundry basket, though.

You ain't kidding. I had a Herman Miller Aeron chair at one place I worked and it was pretty nice. The mesh is easy to clean, doesn't wear out like foam and gets some airflow too.

My home chair is Steel Case Leap. Same deal as you, got it at a used office furniture place. It's pretty comfortable and the foam is in good shape years later.

I've got a plan for storing my RCs that I haven't implemented yet, so currently they just sit in the floor, but eventually I'll get around to building it. Everything else though is pretty squared away.

I havent played D&D since second edition but I still enjoy playing things like Baldurs Gate, Diablo 4, or a good MMORPG.

LOL, no I did not own a shop. I had a bunch of boxes of of Masters. Master 25, Iconic masters, Modern Masters, Eternal Masters, Battlegrounds, and a ton of just random unopened boosters boxes. Ever seen Rudy on Youtube? I forget the name of his channel but it was all about investing in MTG, sitting on it for years and then selling it.

I dont have most of that stuff anymore. I started collecting when the game first came out. I had a full set + tons of extras of Beta, Unlimited, Arabian Nights, Antiquties, Revised, and Legends. I was working on the Dark when I got pissed off that WotC said they were reprinting cards from all of the old sets and I sold off my collection back in 94ish for about 4K. That same collection today would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Who knew?!

Back in 2012 or so I decided to get back in to it and went ham, as you can tell, only to discover that netdecking pretty much ruined MTG. I got frustrated with it and sold a lot of my stuff. I kept my singles that are worth money and a handful of other items and sold everything else off. Kinda regret that too. Oh well.

For RC car storage, I use the DIY shelving from the hardware store. As my collection grows I buy another shelving unit. It's all in the shed though. I have no spare rooms for hobbies. Wish I did as everything collects dust and rust in the shed.

My wife loves that I am in the hobby because it keeps me occupied and believe it or not "alive".
I have a large 16x10 ft room dedicated for just my hobbies and another small room for my firearms and reloading equipment.
Sharing your hobby would be a good thing if possible, my wife comes up with some awesome ideas and loves my rigs all over the house.
