I have a brand new Redcat 1/10 scale and it won't start. I think I did everything right as far as the book goes. Any help would be appreciated. Skip

check for fuel, ignition, compression. take the fuel hose off at the carb, be sure fuel is in the tank, take the pressure line off the exhaust, blow in the pressure line you should get fuel out of the line going to the carb. now when you spin the engine, if you cover the exhaust pipe the fuel should go into the carb. check the glow plug by putting it into the igniter, do NOT use pliers to hold the plug it will mess up the threads and mess up the head.

Thanks but I did all that the fuel is going to the carb. Is it possible the ignitor or the glowplug isn't working?

completly off subject, but i saw in your profile you are from wichita, i am from derby, you know of any places other than parks and parking lots to go bash on the weekends? I'm getting a lil bored of the spots in derby. thanks!

to: wec#11 i live on the west side of wichita. and you are right it is hard to find a place to bash. i ran off road just once, took me 45 min to clean the truck. i run pavement only. i found a parking lot that has no signs, that is big enough. send me an e-mail ill send you my phone no. Pull the plug and check it and the igniter, they could be a problem. You said this is brand new,so I suspect the needles are off a bit. Is there fuel spitting out of the exhaust? I've seen many that are too rich from the factory to run.
