Thanks. Also , do you think these will fit my MT10?Or that.. LOL. Glad you fingered it out.
They will fit, almost an inch shorter than the Mashers though. You'll need to change gearing to get the same top speed as the Mashers.Thanks. Also , do you think these will fit my MT10? View attachment 208395
Gotcha. I’m not too concerned with top speed. I just don’t want my motor or esc to overheat. With it being an inch shorter with those tires, I’m not wild about losing that ground clearance. But I have to say that so far, I am a big fan of the Mashers. They will fit, almost an inch shorter than the Mashers though. You'll need to change gearing to get the same top speed as the Mashers.
What about tires like this? Any gear change required? They will fit, almost an inch shorter than the Mashers though. You'll need to change gearing to get the same top speed as the Mashers.
I would imagine yes. I don't know what the actual dimensions are on those, but knowing the Savage is a 1/8 scale, they're likely around 6" tall. Just a guess. They may be a bit too big for the MT10. Definitely not for pavement though, they'd burn off the nubs right quick. Great looking tires/wheels though. If I were betting, I'd bet they're discontinued and nowhere to be found. Seems like all the pin type tires have gone away, everyone wants the big chunky knobbies nowadays. I run on clay almost exclusively, so the pin tires are my favorite. What about tires like this? Oh yes , too big. Good looking though. Thanks for looking for meNope, still available.. 170x85mm, so 6.7" tall. I'd say too big for MT10.

How I roll too.I mostly use balance boards, and while they are a little more 'in the way', they make it a bit easier to keep things 'straight'.

Paint here.Do most of you guys paint your own RC bodies? Or do you get the pre-painted ones?
I've painted several. And bought pre-painted & a black lexan one.Do most of you guys paint your own RC bodies? Or do you get the pre-painted ones?
It’s been forever but I’m interested in painting my own. At least a couple to see how they come out. My stock body has only minor scratches on it so far but I’m sure that’ll change soon.Paint here.

When Tamiya spray cans were banned in the Great White North, we discussed cans vs airbrush. It’s been forever but I’m interested in painting my own. At least a couple to see how they come out. My stock body has only minor scratches on it so far but I’m sure that’ll change soon.
Wow , those look great! Airbrush , huh? I’ll investigate.I enjoy it, it gets me out of my comfort zonenever was very artistic
if you plan to be in the hobby and building your own, I would recommend getting air brush setup to start. I wasted a bunch on spray cans before I went to airbrush. It will be more upfront, but in the long run I think it pays off. Probably be varied opinions on that
