Ok no prob. I still want that Apollo buggy. And for a truggy , I like the Kraton or Tekno. I need to make room for all these vehicles 😃
Being you have a capable monster truck, if you do the Sworkz buggy, The Tekno Truggy makes the most sense IMHO.. Both 4s, and use the same batteries.

Also the Tekno kit requires very little upgrades to what the kit will come with. While the Kraton is undoubtedly a tremendously capable basher, it’s far harder on parts than the Tekno.. Also I can about guarantee the factory electronics will end up getting yanked in favor of aftermarket stuff pretty quickly, so it kind of puts you in almost the same boat as a kit anyway.. In my experience anyhow.. Also Tekno gives a 50% discount on any part you break. They also give a 15% discount to military, and first responders.

Routine maintenance comes sooner for me as I like to keep on top of things before, they get out of hand. I probably overthink things too much when it comes to features of RCs that are on/in my potential shopping list. Weighing the pros and cons of things I've learned to love/hate over the years that hinder/help maintenance of my toys. Do I stand firm on c-hubs and easy access diffs, or do I shrug things off for making things easier on wallet? Those are just two of my pet peeve features when thinking things over. 🤨 🧐🤔

With a grill that only a mother could love! LOL. Easy fix though. Those tires sure look familiar.. Duratrax Badgers.

No argument on the Tekno, top quality right out of the box. Both of mine are 2-3 years old. Still tight. Haven't opened a diff aside from changing fluids. Can't say the same for my Arrma's. 6s need diffs almost yearly.
As far as electronics go, radio and servo are about the only downsides for Arrma IMO. Motor/esc are fine. Servo is about as good as any rtr. What chafe's my arse about Arrma is how quickly they develop slop at the suspension pivots. Might be the worst I've ever seen in 1/8 rc's. Even the 1/5 8s, sloppy right out of the box, and no way to fix it. It's just how they're made I guess, lose tolerances. Traxxas does better, especially in large scale 8s.

So you’d choose a Sledge over a Kraton?

I wouldn't, but am pretty confident their plastics are better. Unfortunately that's the only place the Sledge wins. We have all the usual suspects here between my brother and I. The Sledge underperforms, diffs suck, hinge pins and shock caps break. Driveshafts too. It's weird, cuz the 2, 3, 4 and 8s are solid, but the Sledge just doesn't impress. E Revo either. I imagine the Slash 6s is decent, but seems like Traxxas does better with the plastic than metal based rc's.
K6 vs Sledge, I feel the K6 is the easy choice. I complain of slop, but it is a basher, so most don't care about the slop. Since we run a track, we're more critical.
I should add that after spending $800 on the Sledge, and another $3-400 in upgrades, my bro thinks his Sledge is a beast. I's say it's a tank, and runs like one too, slow and steady. LOL.
