Build Thread Willys 4th scx24 the Javelina II

The Javelina II. Body and chassis off of etsy from Quadra Blue. I just started on this so it is in very beginning stages. It hinges in the front, gladiator wheelbase.
I have at the moment gladiator links and injora wheels with karnage rc faces, baja pro x tires and meus axels, the new ones. It will be brushless, would like to get rclions setup but not available at the moment, All could change but this what I got so far.

I was thinking it would be great on the side hills. So took a chance on it. And liking it so far. This has a sheet for guidance on parts but, I tend to not to read directions so will definitely be Willy style. but his recommendations are very good parts. And tested, by himself so you know they fit well.

I really like it. I checked out his shop, I like his style with the fictional bodies. If I ever build another SCX24, I may have to go with one of these. How does the 3d print look? It seems pretty smooth.

Really good, I really don’t want to paint it, looks great as is. And not any trimming of burs or even hairs, he must clean them up well before shipping.

That is awesome. I may have to pick up one of these. I just really liked the look. Can't wait to see where you go with the build!

Do you think that Javelina body would work on an fcx24 chassis? I feel like if I go the route of a second 24th scale (some day) I kind of want another 2 speed transmission. Currently contemplating how to acquire some 24 scale parts without breaking the bank...

I have no clue but I have just acquired an fcx24 unimog, I can try to fit it once I get home tonight after work.

Sorry guys this had to go on pause, it will be one of my most expensive builds, so stopping at the moment till money lets me. I think it could also be my most capable, is another reason taking my time. Really trying to pick out my parts as I go but not buying yet, so if something better comes out it will be changed on the list. So pretty much what you see here wont be it, except for the chassis body.
