I had the RTR3 with the 15FE and did the same thing and use a cop with a radar gun. the most is did was 37 on stock 2 speed gears and tires

You have no proof that car is doing 45 mph dude. I was there with you. Its a stock RTR3 with regular gears in a 2-Speed. When I "see" it clocked at 45 I'll be happy for you but personally I dont think it does 45.

no that I am saying you can't make it happen. Just the way you say you have it just doesn't sound possible. But keep trying man. You can make anything go fast just use facts not assumption. The best tool out there for this is the VSM. it will show the actual speed, Rpm and more. Good luck.:madface:

VSM only shows, mileage, max speed, current speed, and voltage. Nothing more...so it doesn't show the rpm's...

jon thinks he knows all,your experiance dosnt mean poop to me,just because you can't get your car up that fast doesn't mean its not possible,maybe you should take into fact,location these engines perform diff. at diff. altitudes,humidity,temp.,and several other factors so before you call someone a liar,you might want to check yourself!:loser: maybe he was going down hill with a temp of 320?

Watch who you assume is assuming. ASS. I never said that it wasn't possible. Any IDIOT can make most any Nitro car go hella fast if they gear high enough or just lean their engine out. Yeah location, altitudes, temperature are factors to take account of but that was never stated. NONE OF IT WSA STATED! I went with what he said. I state mine as fact as the car under normal operating temperature is not that fast in stock trim even with a 2 speed installed. The only thing I see from your post is someone that wants to be right because he thinks he is. I owned that car I tried different mills and gearing.

Why don't you back up your post when you want to call a shot. Again the 15SS is made for torque but can easily made to go fast with gearing. When you say belt drive it is already known that a belt drive always has more of a linear power band then that of shaft drive.

well jon, I happen to own both a RTR3 and the 3ss,although I never had the RTR3 clocked with the 15fe,I do believe it has the power with the right exhaust,fuel,air filter,flywheel,ect. to reach his claimed speed with stock gearing! I hate to see someone bashed for a post by someone especially when they say mine wouldnt do it so yours can't! that in itself is a dumba## remark!that has been said to many times on here,why didnt you ask him how he managed to achive that speed rather than call him a liar?Not tring to start shi$ with you just deffending someone who got bashed for no reason! and no i can't read I'm illiterate whats it to you?

I am going to entertain this just to defend myself and for the sake of helping others. Saying my car goes this fast has also been said many times and again notmuch to rely on. I ran the rtr 3 against a stock ss and it the ss clearly blows it out of the hole and in the straightaway. I also clocked both mine and the ss with the same radar and the same cop. They may look fast and some would be quick to say "mine goes like 55 I swear!!!"

I don't like getting into arguements.Especially here. If someone calls me a loser and doesn't even talk to me before calling names you automatically are seen by me as a kid. I don't care how old you are or what you have but I have learned that anyone can be immature when it comes to name calling. Hey I was I stooped down to your mentality to call you an ASS.

I like to help as much as I can and if I am wrong I don't mind being corrected at all. All you did was see that I was bashing the original poster. Where in any of my posts did I bash him? I can certainly see where you bashed me! I never bashed the dude. Get it right or don't post at all.

That was fact from two people doing the same thing as the original poster. That post was an anwer to your post prior to that one. I never called you a loser nor did I try to say you will never do it. I simply stated that by you posting that your 15ss can do 70mph does not justify the 15FE will do 45. That is the biggest assumption right there.

You know what this is the most idiotic arguement I have been in quite a while. Go ahead and think what you will if there is anyone reading this that agrees with joneser's analysis of the 15ss can do70 thus the 15fe will do 45 then go ahead!!! I want to post better things up than try to battle with this poster.

Good luck rs43drifter. Regardless of the recent posts in this thread, I believe that you can accomplish a higher top speed . I would really get a VSM to see what changes you do to the RS4 3. See if the change helps you or make you lose some mph. I hope that I didn't offend you like jonesr thinks I did. I was like you saying mine did this until someone asked me to back it up with proof.
