Thanks for the info
@Greywolf74 the hyper go is by MJX and they are very much a cheap Ali express Chinese 1:16 car. But they do take the abuse quite well. I’ll make sure to check out those dura tracks tyres. They look quite nice.
As
@tntpoof mentioned, I have been toying with idea of upgraded radio too. Budget is an issue as I’m not just buying for 1. I was eyeing up the dumborc controllers. Are they any good or are there any others I should check out please?
The people that have the Dumbo RC radios seem to like them. But I can't for the life of me understand why anybody would buy that over the FlySky GT3B. WAY more features. I've seen the GT3B selling for around $35, and for that or even $10 more, it's just silly not to buy the GT3B instead. Just my opinion. But only a dumbo buys a Dumbo
Just kidding

Ask anyone that has the GT3B. They'll typically tell you they love it. For a general budget basher radio, you simply can't beat it. If you want more channels, grab their GT5 instead.
@ArGaT
You're new to the hobby. Do you have a ruler or better yet, a set of calipers? If so, measue the diameter of your tires where they meet the rim. The actual tire/wheel diameter will be a bit smaller than this value. But we need to measure in inches. Common inner tire diameters (tire bead) - 1.2, 1.3, 1.55, 1.7, 1.9 etc. S0 if you measure around, 1-3/4", you might be looking for 1.55's for example. Then measure the outer diameter of the tire and the tire width. These numbers will help you find the right size wheel and tire combo.
You also need to measure the hex in the back of the wheel. There are standard hex sizes. Hopefully yours even uses a hex, and it is a standard size. If it is, you'll have better luck searching.
The problem with the small scale Chinese buggies and such is wheels and tires get to be harder to find. If you're lucky, the Losi Mini-B or Mini-T wheels will fit it, or something similar, and the tires are about the same diameter. Look around here and compare.

Note: If you change your tire diameter, you might have to change your pinion to get your final drive ratio back to where it should be. You can burn up your motor or ESC if you go too high a ratio and put a strain on your motor.
Bigger outer tire diameter = hotter motor, faster top speed (to an extent).
Smaller outer tire diameter = cooler motor, less top end, but peppier off the line.
