This is the main reason you should disassemble and inspect your RC after every good bash session.

If I was to continue running like this I would end up damaging the spur gear, clutch bell, bearings, or the engine could break off and scream at WOT with no load. How long would that engine last?
 
I remember reading something about that white ring you have on your clutchbell.. You might want to look into what is causing that..
 
I did that with a dremal. It used to get caught on the brake disk so I rounded it off a little

I thought that there was something wrong with your head since it isn't purple.:LoL:


I actually had the same thought that Olds did.

ill second that i thpught bloody hell got it in one a loose carb but it was the crack :stick:

I didn't notice the crack until I sprayed it down with DA. I took the pics before it had a chance to dry.

That happened to me. Engine mount broke and stripped the spur gear and it sat at WOT. Luckily I was only about 10 feet away and quickly shut her down. Then Jon2 went out of his way and sent me a free TRX2.5 engine mount. Thanks Jon!
