Here it is, my dad's Yokomo YD-2 kit he also has a Toyota 86 body in the rec room that hasn't been painted yet. He's just been so busy keeping our family afloat and his nursing job where he works nights 3 days a week.

I have a spare Horizon\Onyx 4,000kv brushless combo it already has a Savox low profile servo in it and wheels\tires. Just needs a new receiver, a couple screws, washers and a new pinion gear as well as maybe a new body. I have a possible new receiver on the way from a fellow RC Talk member for it and hopefully the new update i did to my DX6C will work. Although this might be a slow revival since i have other cars i have to get running along with i might try to get my new dream radio a little early hopefully by fall if i can manage it.

Temp in the workshop finally got above 60degF so I could get back to it.

Squirrelled a length of 1/16in AL flat out of the basher stash. Drilled, cut and polished a replacement mount for the GNSS speed meter for the Rival MT10R. Got tired of the lame length of flexy Lexan in use. Attached the GNSS with a 2in length of Velcro. Sturdy mount that also acts as a spreader bar for the RR body mounts. Might add a bit of survivability in the event of the inevitable roll-over.

Final dressing up of the mount gave me the opportunity to unpack and use the belt sander I bought two-three years ago. Cheers. -AC

Neat drift car my dad bought a Yokomo YD-2 kit a couple of years ago drove it a couple times but now it sits on the shelf but i might have an idea to get it running again someday. Should a share a pic or two of my dad's old Yokomo YD-2?

I worked on my X-Maxx again before dinner and broke a bullet on the middle motor wire.

So now i might be able to desolder the broken one and replace it with a new 6.5mm bullet or maybe i might spent the extra money in April and get my Hobbywing 1,100kv mounted in with a new motor mount.

These are the mounts i'm currently thinking about if i do use my HW 1,100kv in this truck.

Not really wrenching but did loads of burnouts to "prep" these old tires hopefully to gain some sort of traction.

And yea should be able to come up with the pressure washer. Isn't rubber. It's all the sticky sauce.

Started the change over of the Senton 2WD from GrassSpec to DragSpec. Drained and replaced the shock fluid on the fronts. Had to go on YT to get a vid on how to take them apart. Thought I knew but wasn't sure. After getting schooled on that dug into my basher tool chest and came up with the Arrma tool that came with the slider. Yep, loosens the shock cartridge. Not sure what wt came out, but it was clear on both shocks. Good. No seals or o-rings needed. Replaced the fluid with AE 30wt (350CST). My go-to silicone is TLR, like forever, but am determined to use up my stash of AE.

Swapping on a pair of JC Octagon's up front mounted to Arrma 2.2/3.0 SCTs with 14mm hexes. Balanced them out while about it. Got 'em close but not perfect. Better than they were at least.

[ Edit: not sure what happened with the image. Apologize for the fuzzy. Think I'm not as steady as I once was. Break out the tripod tomorrow and see if it's me or the camera. ]

After twenty six years finally broke down and ordered a pair of Dynamite shock shaft pliers. My grip isn't what it once was, so need all the help I can get. Tomorrow, get after the rear's. -AC

I must have 200 bearings here... not 1 to fit this axle to replace the one I fried.
Tire testing is delayed again.

Found some more paint. So I'm continuing on my f450 body. Got the jato chilling. It's gonna get taken apart and washed piece by piece. When I get back home I will put the jato spikes and Mohawk on my nitro sport and the anacondas will get put on the jato. If I have energy I'll tear into the 2.5 and 3.3.

Although i did this yesterday but i tore back into my Vendetta took out the ESC to get the firmware updated\upgraded. I also plan to get the diff back apart so i can re-shim them one more time so they roll super free and install my fresh new Spektrum AVC receiver i bought pulled from a new Arrma rig. Also plan to get her all cleaned up for the reinstall of her electronics and other things. But first i got to wait for everything to come in the mail.
