Going to take the old RC10 RS truck and make a sand drag rig. It's pretty outdated for short course use.

Haven't started yet. My 6s Kraton rolls like a skateboard backwards but binds going forward. Sounds like a spiral cut gear issue. Prior to this happening the truck got completely submerged in water (it ended up in a ditch, I drove it out).

I installed and transmission and a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport motor.
I also installed the steering servo but it's temporary until I get some axles. I'm going with portal axles.
I have a front portal but need the rear but I'm sure I can't buy just a rear axle.

While waiting for the battery tray for the Bolink truck build. I started on this. Instructions are a complete joke, bunch of parts missing...suspension parts mostly. I will need to fab up a complete floating axle mount. SMH.

Cold and rainy here, so after my coffee, i think the new motor and esc will be going in the pro4! As well as a decent clean, maybe some fresh shock oil…

I installed a set of wheels and tires on my El Camino and serviced my generator.
Last summer my generator quite working and it wouldn't start. I put it in the shop and
forgot about it. It acted like it wasn't getting spark.
I started to pull the plug and the coil wire had popped off so it wasn't getting spark.
At least I hope that was the problem because there is lots of spark now.
I changed the oil and drained the fuel. I'll run a little bit of Seafoam through it when I try to start it.
It's a really nice generator and is very quiet.

I pulled one of my crawlers off the shelf so I could measure the tires and I noticed it had a broken front axle.
The wheel was turning freely so I pulled it apart and the pin in the joint was loose and came out of the knuckle cup it rides in.
Only took a few minutes, now I'm bored again.
I love it when something breaks and I can have a little bit of wrenching time. ;)

Stretched the Associated MT10 today... swapped the chassis for the longer wheel-base SC10. No other changes... It will be getting a VW beetle body to complete the transformation to a Monster Beetle.

This thing is so frustrating. Assembled as per pictures. Didn't get all the suspension parts , but I thought i could make it work per the pictures. NOT! Back to the hand made floating axle.

What parts are you missing. I am thinking about one of those but the a frame in the front being flat is a turnoff for me.

This is high class toys not flat Legos. Rant over.😁

The leaf spring set-up is awful. The shackles are missing so there's no movement when compressed thus resulting in broken tie bars. The front tow plate will need to be modified due to too much flex. If you actually towed this, it would bend. Ebay purchase. The wheels are nice!

Come down here you can wrench all you want

You slip me some tator tots and ice tea through out the day and I'll be there.

I think that can be arranged! Heck I even have a recliner with your name on it. 🤣

Finally fixed this thing after several weeks of lexan torture. Thankfully I was able to fix my race body and I fix some of the decals. The right rear corner was completely buckled from some guy not paying attention about a month ago, but was able to fix it with a heat gun on low heat. It took about 6 hours to heat the right rear corner back into shape and I'm not exaggerating that number either. It's still got some minor scratches from previous racing, but at least the car is fixed. (it's gonna get more i'm sure anyways)
