need a new clutch bell and spur gear for my savvy, have an axial .32, in an x with xl chassis, what is a good clutch bell/spur gear for me, want acceleration over top speed, so would a 14 tooth bell with a 52 tooth spur suit that?

if you want acceleration over top speed go with the smallest clutchbell you can get and the biggest spur gear

Geez... if you can get the axial to run right, it should put out a decent amount of low end torque which will let you gear it taller but still feel torquey.

I'm running 16/47 in mine right now with a 1" extended chassis, 3-speed trans and LRP28S3 engine. I get easy wheelies in first and second. I get slipper slip when I'm hard on it into 3rd.

ok, through your reccomendation i have gone for 16/49 gearing, 18/47 i think was on it, so will have a little bit more torque at low end, thanks guys
