when started it wont to go in reverse but i dont have it

about 2 or 3 times i have started my xtm x cellerator truck up an its in reverse , but i dont have any gears on the truck , i kill it an then start it an seems to be ok after , but what would make it do it ?

no its 2 wheel drive with forword an a brake its not got a reverse but 2 or 3 times when i have started it the wheels have been goin the other way

I could be wrong but it seems like when your starting it your starting it backwards and that's why it's in reverse.

What percent of nitro are you using and what kind of glow plug (temp wise)?

2 cycle engines CAN run in reverse...not well, but they will run. Just make sure the drill is turning in the right direction.

If it's a drill start you could be starting it backwards. Nitros will run backwards if not very well.

yer its started by drill , am sure i havnt been starting it back words , i will duble cheak each time i think , I'm using 16% and a hot glow plug as just braking it in but goin to 20% an medium glow plug this weekend as it should be ready to tune now

just got back and put 20% fuel in with a med heat glow plug an got it started but it the engine was in reverse again , so i stoped it and done every think the same again and then it was fine ,

that's is weird,the only think that I can think of is the drill turning backwards,other then that nothing will cause engine to work in reverse mode!

Pardon Rolex, how does that work out ?

RE: Backwards running. Keep checking the rotation of the drill each time you start the engine. Then, once break in is achieved, switch over to a pull starter and stop the hassles of the roto start system causing backwards running.

yer the drill needs to turn to the left , it doesn't happen all the time , just now an again , so think i will get a new pull start an keep the drill just for when the pull starter breaks lol
