I made a remote starter for my Maxx with the 3rd channel. It worked great. I just used an old ESC, the pro 15 starter and a homemade 7.2 volt pack that I strapped over the front wheels. (helps keep the front end down)

I want to see pics of that.

Ok, here's one....

Quick release servos/servo mounts.... So if you're a cheap bastard like me and doesn't want to buy two of the exact same servo, u can jus hav 1 and switch them out between cars...w/o it beein a major PITA like it is now... :arrr:

ok, I know it's a long time comin but I finally got a pic of my idea. Me and the wife finally got some picture phones so now I have no excuse for not getting pictures up.
If anybody is familiar with the servo plate on a TTR S3 you can see my custom piece is similar except it extends out more to accomodate the extra servo.

it actually works extremely well. yeah, there's a bit of a learning curve and no I havn't tried it on a real track but a have one portion of my back yard that slopes down and the grass is really thin so it slides pretty well there. Maybe not race legal but still fun.

so what does this dual servo setup do for you that a single can't oh god I hope one isn't the throttle/brake and the other steering but they look like thay are both throttle
is this to lock the rear brake??

My RC ideas...

I always wanted to have a ramp that was made of plastic (maybe RPM could manufacture) that was adjustable by height and width. You would have to purchase a base kit, which comes with one ramp and one set of adjustable legs or something... and get extras for it. like..

extenders to make it longer...
or connector pieces to put 2 ramps together...

All of this spawned on me sticking the bike/skateboard ramp in my car to take to a bash session, and I thought, this is cool.. but what if it was adjustable and I could do anything with it!!!

Wooden ramps are the way to go, but without a truck or a good bashing spot in your yard, they are useless. Lightweight, durable, and adjustable. Build me one!!

hahaha

I have another idea, and I might do it one day..

You know those keychains that are just a little hand with bendable fingers?? You know, you bend it to a hand giving the finger.. or hang loose.. or whatever... My idea was to mount a 3rd servo to a truck with that keychain giving the bird on it. When my friends cut me off.. or run into me.. or if I leave them in the dust to push the channel 3 switch and let the bird fly... haha Sounds dumb, but it made me laugh.

later.

I made wooden ramps with hinges. I can adjust the angle and height of them with the rope that keeps them up. Kind of like a A-Frame. I made them out of 2 foot wide 1/4 inch plywood. It's kind of nice because they are adjustable and you can jump off them from the front and the back. I made 2 sets so I have a 4 foot wide ramp when I put them side by side.

I had to make them foldable with the hinges so they would fit in my car.
