I spy @Mister 4x4 wife's car. 😝🤪
Lol. Can't remember what year or what trim level his is. I know its either a 14 or 15. I thought it was a z28 but probably not. He has a 80s monte carlo sitting purdy in the garage.

Got the same truck except it's a cat eyed. Debating on motors and forced induction.
Yea he took out the bench seat in the back and put in captain seats from I think a 05 Tahoe. And then 2 10's (if I remember) subs right between both captain seats. Sometimes makes you think how I became a bass head in music lol.

And it's the right color? Black and red or teal green for me. And one owner😍🥰

My buddy had a teal 87ss. Acura seats, 427 from a vette, turbo 400 and a grand national rear end. It was a t top car and it was torquing the shell

He says it still does 12s in the 1/4 mile

Dang you Auzzies get all the cool cars... If I lived over there I'd need a Holden UTE
Unfortunately, Holden ceased trading in 2020. But there are still plenty on used ones still on the road. The ute's are very handy vehicles to own. Plus they do good skids 😉

In 2015 or so I had a buddy trying to get me a first gen colorado from his job that needed work for cheap. It fell through. I was in the process of sourcing holden badges and holden Colorado parts.

That red soil sand makes me want to hit the dunes!!!❤️
Aussies have had some VERY cool cars over the years!
You guys get the front and rear air lockers and a WAY low 4 speed transfer case with air suspension that ACTUALLY works in a factory 'lifted' diesel SUV equipped with an air snorkle, beadlocks and all...❤️
We get $8500 pick up tailgates 'with lots of steps🙄' (add another$1000 if you opt for chrome) with 9000 cameras and a suspension that was also used in an 86 Chevy Caprice sedan. 😐

My daily driver isn't in the driveway anymore since its winter, but here it is:
It's a 76 Datsun 620 with the L20B (2.0L) 4cyl engine, a 4speed, a 38/38 Weber carb, and some other mods I have had to do to keep it on the road. The exhaust is a custom job Me and a co-worker did using a magnaflow cat and muffler. Its an angry sounding little engine. I have had it at 100mph, which was the gauge max'd out. Very fun to drive and temperamental on warm ups after work when its really cold out.
My garaged project is a 1990 Isuzu trooper that is waiting for me to drop in the 3.4/3500 60 degree in it. What can I say, RC kinda stole me away from that one.

Awesome!! Back when a compact truck was actually a compact truck! I had a 1984 2wd long bed "one ton", I called it the Wonton, LOL. 5 speed, 2.4L. Great truck. Later I bought an 86 1/2 "Hard Body" short box 2wd w/V6 5 speed. That sucker had some pep to it! 😎 Also a great lil truck!

Dang, I remember when that body style was everywhere.. almost as common as a Camry is today! Back when GM was actually #1, at least in volume.. never was "my" choice, but can't deny success. Oh, and the third gen F bodies.. we called them pizza cutters cuz every burn-out/drop-out 20 year old pizza delivery guy was driving an F-body it seemed, LOL.

I run a 96 2wd 5spd 2.4. Its my neighbors. She lets it sit, drives it to the dump 4 times a year and buys plants sometimes. 😂
I've been picking away at the issues. Tightened steering box, replaced steering pump, exhaust, tune up, brakes, wiper trans...
Every time I work on it, the truck runs a bit better... like its happy that I'm helping it out or something! 😂
It needs a new front end. Its loose on the highway. Otherwise, its been a fantastic little truck!

Sounds like she's got some mileage on her? Good on you brother, taking care of ur neighbors. 🍻 Seems a lost ideal these days.. But yeah, I miss when a vehicle was just a vehicle, where it wasn't data logging and telling you to air your tires up, beeping at you cuz there's an obstacle next to you, or that someone posted on ur timeline.. WTF cares? It's supposed to require some level of responsibility and knowledge to operate, at least I've always felt.

She wanted to sell it for a new pick up and I wouldn't let her! 😂
A new truck to throw old sticks and branches in, trash etc... a new loan, higher insurance... omg so not worth it for a plastic spy-truck!!! And how sad would she be at the new scratches etc that a yard truck takes???
Taking care of neighbors brought to a new level here! She helped us buy our house! Shes in real estate. 😎
She got ill. I watched her house and her cat for over a year while she was in hospital. 🤕
I still drive about 1/2 hr each way to snowblow her driveway every storm and say hi, check up on her.
Shes doing much better but not sure shes gonna be running a snowblower again. 👍
If we don't look after our neighbors and friends, who will? Life is hard enough!❤️
I learned how to drive a John Deere 544 when I was 9. Not well but I was no longer scared of a 'big car' either.
I've driven a lot of big old dinosaur equipment. Long before back up cams and nonsense.
Why the hell is a car collecting ANY info from ANYONE?
I do not agree and will not comply. 😉

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! I admit I don't even know my neighbors, well I'll say hi, and surely offer help if we see one of them in need, but that's about as far as we've ever gotten in the 12 years we've lived in our house. They waive, we waive.. well, some waive, sometimes, others just stare at us as we drive by even after we waive.. LOL. 🤷‍♂️

I know my new neighbors across and next door. Across, great ppl! They are SUPER NICE!!!😁👍
Next door, we haven't gone over to say hi really asuch as I guess we should have? Its odd bc they are disabled and even walking door to door is too much. ☹️ I feel odd about inviting myself over to say hi I guess 🤣
Guy in back is scared of my dog ( me too i think ) 🙄 He has a REAL nice Ford pick up (70's i think) in his driveway!!!😍👍
And guy to right (kid at least) is a walking anus! He has an El Camino with a Monte SS nose on it and had a Dodge Ram burn in his driveway! Fun times! 🤣
Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. 🤣
We ALL live in the woods Maine. When a 'thing' happens here, we all respond, help out etc...
I was burning yard crap, lots of smoke... 3 different ppl checked up on us/it. ❤️
Obviously they dont want a fire either! 😉🤣

Nissan had some great motors in the 80's and 90's, not so sure about Nissan these days though. My dad had a little 80's hard body pickup that was a great pickup. A lot of people put that 2.4 into the 70's pickups.
