Nissan had some great motors in the 80's and 90's, not so sure about Nissan these days though. My dad had a little 80's hard body pickup that was a great pickup. A lot of people put that 2.4 into the 70's pickups.
I hear that, the 2.5l 4 cylinder is trash, as is the CVT. How many 2.5l equipped Nissan "yard ornaments" are out there? A LOT!! LOL.

Oh man - I've owned a few of those '85 Nissan 720 4x4 pick-ups. One a regular cab, and the other was a King Cab.

Both of those trucks had the Z-24 engines, which were quite peppy for the time and what they were. I'd have another King Cab if given the chance, but I think I'd rather have a D20 Hardbody Pathfinder with the V6, 4x4 of course... although, I've seen some cool Hardbody low-rider/mini trucks, too.

I'd LOVE to find a good Nissan 1/10 body to build an rc just like THESE!!!❤️

Interesting that we both landed them from same supplier but appears that they are actually two different bodies.
I wonder if i can get a 2 for 1 deal??? 🤣🤣🤣
TBG seem real good ppl. I have been chatting with them for a few months now.
I'm FINALLY sending stuff to them!!!
I am excited to see the results too!!! @Greywolf74 said he bought a bunch of bodies from them and hes happy with them. 😎
I have been eyeing a BUNCH of Kyosho stuff now for a while. We'll see what happens. 👍

You’re sending to them? I never heard of them, but that’s no surprise as I rarely do any custom builds or restoration projects. RTR bodies on pretty much everything, for me, boring, but also cheap and easy thanks to kit breakers.

I found TBG while vintage body hunting for Kyoshos.
They offer a cool program where if you have some old or unique lexan, uncut, unpainted, they might be interested in reproducing them.
In my case, I've got a bunch of pretty unique stuff. I'm sending in a LWB belt cover from a JG Optima Mid kit thats 30 years old! 🤣
Same with a MRC Funco body and a couple AYK body and gear cover that simply don't exist any more. A cool VW Bug body and a couple other goodies too.
They will make molds of the parts that I send and make new bodies from those molds. 👍
I asked them for pics of the process and they said they will send some for me to post here.
Its a small operation in Canada. No big machines, no mass production etc... I think it will be cool to see how they do it!
They have approx 150 bodies that I like and NEED!!!🤣🤣🤣
I'll be placing a large order or 8 from them too! 😎
Web site prices are also in CAD so thats like 25 maple leaves off if you live in US!!! 😎😂

We have a a bunch of cars, but it makes sense when they are 7 people in the house, and sometimes 9! Here are the ones on the driveway
-My moms 2012 Honda Pilot base model FWD 6 cylinder. ODO. reads 160K
-My sisters 2012 Honda Civic coupe base model FWD 4-cylinder. ODO reads 198K
- 2005 Honda Pilot "Training Car" 4wd base model 6- cylinder. ODO reads 224K (not correct because the motor is not the original one. my parents bought it for scrap money because the original motor had blown up. That is just how much miles the chassis has.)
- My dads Police cruiser a 2024 Ford Explorer 6-cylinder ( to put into perspective my dad was going to pursue a chase and he hit the gas and nothing happened. he hit it again and it 2-3 business days to recognize that he wanted it to go somewhere. He misses his 2021 dodge Durango hemi.)
- My uncles 2021 Chevy Silverado LT crew cab 4x4 V8 LS ODO reads 80K
- My first Truck, a 2001 Toyota Tundra Access Cab SR5 trim 2WD I-Force V8 ODO Reads 175K

Giving the Exploreer needed beef lol

Yeah the Durango had some oil problems. he would find drops of oil almost every time he drove it. The motor was rebuilt multiple times. then they decided to get him a newer Durango. that one had the same thing but not that often. So without him knowing they gave him the explorer and gave the Durango to another officer. He said that even though the Durango had problems, he misses it because it was FAST and the explorer takes 3-5 businesses day to get up to speed.

We have a few

My daily is a 1998 HDJ101 w/ 1HD-FTE. It's a JDM diesel 100-series Land Cruiser. It's awesome, RHD and that old 90s style soft cloth interior. I got lucky and found one with JP maintenance records going back about 10 years or so and even the POs insurance card! No rust, 145k km. Needs wheel bearings, control arms, and the intake cleaned (EGR mucks it up) but drives great.

My two less daily cars are a 1982 911SC Targa that recently had a respray done with some corrosion repair. It's got the original, unopened as best I can tell 3.0 engine and 915 gearbox. It drives great and is super fun, only real issues is the gearbox needs double clutched to downshift sometimes, think the syncros are going but that's par for the course with a 130k mile gearbox. I've replaced the fuse panel with updated modern fuse panels, it's also got new fuel lines, seats, and audio (not that you can hear it anyway). I bought it in NY and drove it home to NC.

My other is a 2001 996.1, this one I drive more often than the above. It has 56k original miles and was a CA/TX car before I got it to NC. I've since added Ohlins R&T coilovers and...replaced the engine with a Flat Six Innovations Stage II (bumps displacement from 3.4 to 3.8). It's a beast for a naturally aspirated 911 and it's in immaculate shape.
