Printed this for my screws foolishly assumed I would immediately know how to use it

I found a 6x6 chassis so took apart a broke truck
Axles aren't right
But I still dig it so far
Something to tinker on anyhow
Be cool if I get it to crawl tho

I 3D printed a holster knowing full well I'd never really use it. Mainly just a printer test, and pretty damn cool that you can do this. May try one out of ABS, which should be useable, we'll see. Everything but the hardware is 3D printed.

It fit fine, not as much retention as I'd like but that's to be expected vs. Kydex that can flex.

But looking how tall it is!! This was printed standing up.
And while I'm here.... I MADE A LEGGO!!!!!!
But not just ANY Lego... A Lego I designed on fusion from a blank screen. And then I printed a few more copies of it. Changing a few things here and there...
I'm LEARNING!!!!!! Pretty stoked that my lvl44 brain had some swuishyness left to accept new information.
Tonight I. Going to try to change it drastically and make a logo piece that normally doesn't exist. Design it. Print it and use it.. I'm really proud of myself.
Toot toot mofo. Toot toot
I said before the end of the month I was going to learn to make my own prints based on needs. This is the first step and I stepped all the F over it!.

That's awesome!! At first glance I thought it was for toasting marshmallows or hot doggies over a fire. Was gonna remind you it's plastic and prolly would melt and not taste good

Do I spy an opening hood in there? I designed and printed these hood hinges for one of my WPL's.

That allowed me to do this, so the battery, ESC, and Rx could sit in the front.

It is actually part of the cab, there is no hood on this thing.
This was supposed to be a surprise but I guess I can tease with a HUGE hint!

I have been absolutely DYING to do an SCX24 with an old Ford Econoline pickup body, or even a van body. It is WAY up there on my bucket list of RC builds I want to pull off. And yours is going to look a LOT like what I want to do, so I will be

But man, these body lines to me make for the most gorgeous thing to come out of the 60's, right up there with the Cougar, Falcon, and Mustangs.

I have never really searched for a good print file for these in 24th scale, so if you happen to stumble onto one, shoot me a link.

I will keep a look out for that, in fact I think I may have seen one. I will look around again.
For my SCX24, I found a Datsun 620 cab I was trying to purchase files for but my bank keeps declining my card since it is in Euros. I was even using PayPal. Oh well, the Deadbolt is working for me right now.

Yeah, you need at least 10 in your stable

Every time I build on an SCX24, I see another one I want to build. That Injora Yota body and the bug body are begging me to build something with them. After I get the 6x6 done, those two will be my next chassis builds. They are just SICK

Looks like the dash and dash mount are doing ok. Don’t mind those oil drops, I must’ve over-lubed the X axis again. It doesn’t take much. Hopefully it didn’t get on the print.

Everything in black is an ABS.

I rigged up this enclosure and it has produced very good parts so far.

I am cooling it with some 5V hobbywing fans 3M taped to the vents on either side. Pulling air in through an opening and just dumping the heat into the space. There are plenty of leaks at the top to allow air to pass through.
