Since you're likely cooking with burn morels, we'll let that slide. But if you were to cook some fancy dish here with Hoosier grown morels in it, you might get lynched

Only thing missing is a cold beer!
I wish I could hunt 'em, I don't trust my knees and ankles trudging around the woods anymore... I only get a handful in my back yard once a year.
My next door neighbor's kid must have a nose for 'em, I swear he found a grocery bag full in a crummy drainage ditch in the city a couple years back!!

Same here man. I haven't had a fresh morel in about 8 years. During my first marriage, I swear my father-in-law had the best Morel hunting spot on the planet right behind his house. We would walk in and 2 hours later have to stop because we were out of bags. We found almost 5 lb each one year the 2nd time we went out. The first hunting trip was just to see if they were up, and we still found about 3 lbs total. Other years weren't quite that good, but never a disappointing hunt.

There's still a bunch of filling left. She said she'll adding chunks of shrimp and chopped bamboo shoots to it, and, of course, sesame oil to it for next time. Hopefully the extra ingredients will tame the saltiness.

Gotta have sesame oil. I use that stuff like syrup on pancakes.

my dad went to an eastern European shop and bought my favorite mushrooms, and a taranka, Ukrainian salty dried fish snack. I had to use youtube to confirm that I was eating it the right way, and it turns out it's supposed to be hard but I like the final product

Out and about and wanted to stop at a Chinese Buffet I'm known to visit on occasion but they're closed today.Wanted some stuffed mushrooms, damnit! Had to settle for Sesame Beef and fried rice at the Sun Cafe were I'm also known to hang out.
