We have been in this house 21 years and just got our first trick or treaters. we were actually kind of stunned, luckily we always have candy. 🤣
They got thru the impenetrable hedge and past the moat?!

I'd probably make a red beetle sludge ground up to dye the "cardboard" meat red. That way you can tell if your "beef" is still undercooked. 🤣 Great advice though.
You got to cook em.

We live on a busy main street so parents usually stick to the neighborhoos behind us. The first year we moved in here, we were amazed we didn't get any. After the third year we gave up. Our old house we would get easily over a hundred trick or treaters so it was really weird for us.

We had like 14. Everyone ate more than they gave.

We had about 20 tonight. Half of the norm. I think it was because is was 41F. We also don't get as many since we're on a hill and each house sits on about 2 acres. Not worth the calories except for the little ones, with their parents, who lives around the neighborhood.

A fried egg with runny yolk, right on top, would make this bowl even better.
There's just something about those slimy little cackleberry's, man they are good.
