Bacon, cheese burger.

This was our Saturday afternoon meal at Miller & Carter. Very nice it was, too.

Sunday dinner:

Silverside roast beef and Cauliflower cheese. 🤩

That sir is a Yorkshire pudding.
You Brits/Convicts really have some funny names for stuff. Your cookies are called biscuits. Your biscuits are called pudding. And your pudding is called spotted dik 🤔

Over here, spotted dik is called herpes 🤣

You'd love Yorkshire pudding. Its mainly served with roast beef and gravy. Baked in very hot oil, similar to deep frying batter. It can be hard to perfect though. My wife (she's British) cooks them with every roast beef and sometimes even with roast pork if the kids request it. A family favourite.

So what do you guys call your donuts?

Wait, I just looked it up. You Austrians call them Krapfens 🤣

Is that a donut sitting in gravy?
What Warby said. ☝️

It's a Yorkshire Pudding. Essentially a pancake mix baked in hot oil in a baking tray.

Same ingredient is used for 'Toad in the hole'

It's essentially a big Yorkshire Pudding with Sausages in. A British staple on Sundays, up and down the Nations of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Beef Burrito, roasted tender stem, avocado, sour cream with chorizo, halloumi with honey and coriander.

Very tasty indeed! And - it wasn't chicken. 🤭

Another Brick in the Wall pt 2 by Pink Floyd finally makes sense. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat? I always thought meatloaf and a Jello pudding cup made for an odd combination 😅

My 16yo son cooked dinner tonight. Chicken tenders with honey sauce and mac & cheese. None of it store bought. All made from scratch. Fresh chicken breast in panko crumbs. Even the M&C made at home.
He's a good cook.
