How u doing people? I'm new to the forum so got to bare with me!

Just needed to get some feedback on two cars.. 1-Menace 21 2- Jato 3.3?

What would you guys go for considering prices on after market parts, spec, repair costs and potentially what could be better with a few mods?

Help much appreciated thanks!

Depends on a few things. Do you have a hobby shop nearby? Which of those do they stock more parts for? Will it be easy for you to get parts when (not if) you break one? Traxxas is probably the more popular brand. Parts are readily available from many online outlets. The Schumacher may be more limited in replacement parts and hop-up parts. I think you're better off just getting whichever one will be easier for you to support.

i do have a hobby store near by.. thats the thing i noticed aswell not many hop ups for the menace 21 which is a real down side.. unlike the jato theres always things to get

+1 on candymans reply. What's the fun in getting a rig that you have to wait a week for parts every time you break it?

Where do you plan on running? Pavement only? Grass? Track? BMX? Mix of all?

Personally, I'd go with the jato. I have one and with RPM arms, it's tough as nails. Flies nice, the two speed lets you roll slow and gives you wheelie torque while giving you silly top speeds.

Parts are dirt cheap and easy to find for Traxxas products too. Except for their OWB's in the trannies....30+ bucks a pop, but they are high quality german made bearings.

i would get the traxxas jato i whant to see how fast that thing is. My nitro4tec 3.3 is fast and the jato goes from 0-60 in 4.2 seconds i whant to drive one just to see if i shoul get one.
