Hi i am just about ready to get my rtr ordered . I think the rtr i am going with comes with a fuel bottle and a D battery glow starter. I did place a order yesterday for a nitro starter kit that has those 2 things but a few other stuff i will need. I want to know with the glow starters that you charge will you get a full day of starting? And should i keep the D battery glow starter one with me as well? Would you guys think i should get a good company D battery 2 pack for the glow starter that calls for batteries? I just want to make sure i do not run in to issues during brake in. I tend to think i should take the battery one as a back up i just am not sure if some cheapo batteries will do or do i have to spend another 8.00 ? I was thinking to get 4 cheapo batteries for the D size glow starter.

NEVER get cheapo batteries. They will cost you 5 times more in the long run.
I always had a rechargeable C ignitor in the box and kept a D battery ignitor as a backup. Properly tuned and starting well, the C size will run all day.

Ok thanks, i will pick up a good 2 pack and just keep it with me when i go for the brake in.
