ok I have a dillema for x-mas I was gonna ask for my second rc. And I really want a monster truck since they can go over enything I can't decide and I've chosen these 3....


the Svage x ss (kit)

the Revo 3.3

and maybe the new Cen Gst 7.7

I want the savage because I've heard really good things about them, alot of hop ups And i can build it myself wich is wat i wanted to to, but the rtr is 450 and the kit is 420 not a big price change.

the revo has the ez starts and is raceable I dont race cus I dont have a ride but if i ever could i could race that one. but its a 1/10 scale wich makes me think its not soo big. but also has 3 channle and has a reverse on it

and the Gst is HUGE 24 inches long and has reverse already But the price is way up there I have never heard much about them either

I'm gonna bash only... maybe someday race but not sure.....I want something big and powerfull, i wanna be able to driver over anything especcieally GRASS my rc10gt can but not so good. I want it big and and powerfull and that has many patrs for it.. What should I get.

Id go witht he savage personally, but the revo is a nice rig as well. Also if you plan on racing with the MT later, then Id go with the revo. Id pass on the cen.

yea i agree with andy, i havent heard much about the cen ether, and i would think parts wourl be hard to come by. check out your lhs and see what they stock befor you deside.

I've had savages for years, and i recently picked up a revo. the revo is more like a baja truck. it handles well, flies well, and is pretty tough. if you ever want to race go ahead and get the revo. its not quite as big as a savage, but not by much, and seems to be more "hitech" with the onboard shocks and such.

the savage is a big beast. it has a bit more ground clearance then the revo, and is a bit bigger. comes stock with a big block, (doesn't nesesaraly make it way faster).

if your just gonna beat the snot out of something get the savage. if your gonna race/bash or race only. go with the revo.

the savage is by far the toughest truck I've ever delt with stock, the revo is a close second, and with a few key upgrades can be very tough as well..

I'm getting that X SS as well, just rememebr that $420 price tag doesn't come with a engine or radio. I'm puting a OS .30 on mine and my MX3 radio.

I believe the savage SS-X does come with the K4.6 engine, but no radio or servos

Christmas? Shoot, I'm just thinking about the extra day off for Labor day!

I'd go Revo, personally. It's not really a 1/10th scale, it's a bit bigger, but it's a good basher and can be made race worthy easily.
