What should I do?

Hi I'm 15 and already have two rc's an onroad tamiya and an rc10gt. i have a slight problem. I Can handle both my cars pretty good and and my rc10gt in air also. A couple of days ago I had posted a post on getting a new buggy in which I was go get, but scatch that. I'm not getting a buggy no more( but thanks for all those who helped though.) but I think I'm ready to get a new truck. and this summer i was going to get a savage 25. I told my dad, my grandme and my brother what i was going to do. My dad told me that i should waite till i got better and had started racing other people...my granda and brother said it was a good idea.I wanted the savage for a couple things.. one i have the money for it, 2nd that was going to be my reward for my self for finally fininshing this rough freshman year. and third not to race to to bash. But I'm confused what should I do... should i get it or not. I think I'm ready I've ony been in this hobby for a little more than 6months now and is pretty good but dont know what i should do. Get it or not. Can someone please Help Me.

Around here I dont have any friends that are into rc I'm by myself on this one and the savage wasa just to bash and have fun with. i dont think they race them here but they do race my rc10gt wich I will probraly start racing in the summer. Yes the tempation is so hard to deal with. In the summers that have passed I ussually just get bored and have nothing to do, but when it comes to rc i'll be out there for ours. I have just made my own workshop so things are a little more easier and more organized so I wanted the Savageto have more fun in the summer and start bashing more and jumping more higher. I have tons of Rc videos saved on my computer and everytime i See them it makes me want a Savage even more. So I've put posts on many different websites all around the internet to see other peoples response and make sure i make the right descision. I think i Can handle having two rc's and it will brighten my summera whole lot more and I wanted a reward for myself for finishing this year. And finnaly know that I've worked hard to earn the Savage (I've washed ALOT of cars).

I would discuss it with your father, explain to him exactly how you feel, and let him know you earned the money yourself to buy the truck. As I see it, you earned the money to buy it, if you break it, and you will, you can also earn the money to fix it. If you are already running other nitro cars there really should not be any big issue with getting a savage.
