I blew my motor and was wondering, where do you guys think I can get a motor to throw in? I don't care what the make is, as long as it works! Can I use a motor made for a different truck?
Thanks fellas..:trashed:

i think the rc10 gt is suck a good truck, you could just buy the sticl engine. no need to spend extra dough when that engine is fine i can smoke my friends .18 i still got same ol' engine so its fine to stick with stock and good money so i dont no get a job

sorry can't type, stick with the same engine stock* that came with the dang thing cuz it is sick

I don't know if you've made your decision or not. What I've got in my GT is the Fantom .15, and to be honest on dirt it's actually a bit too much unless you're running with all out spiked tires. On the pavement it flies, ya know just point and shoot, but if you're not super carefull on the dirt the dang thing will get all over the place.
So, IMO unless you're a pretty good driver, unlike myself, if you're running on dirt you don't want something with too much power or at times it can be just uncontrollable and frustrating.

I have the OS .15 CV-R(X) in my losi xxx-nt. It's been a damn good engine. I'm on gallon 6 and still running strong. Very rarely do i have any engine problems. When i do, it's due to neglect. Then i clean the carb, clean the one-way, replace the glow plug and re-silicone everything. Then i'm good for another gallon or two.

For the nt, it has enough power to rip the trans apart. I've upgraded what i can with an RRP gear. Haven't had any drive train issues since. Just snow.

i have a .12 cv-r in my gt and i tuned it once and i havent needed to touch the needles again. it has pretty good low end but it has more top end. it is really good

I want a motor that could be used for racing but is reliable enough to run it around the block and in the yard as well.

Does your track race .15 . They are not roar legal. If you want a good .12 you should go with the OS .12 TR.
