I've owned a lot of kits over the past 12-14 years. My very first RC (if you dont include the Tamiya Frog I had when I was like 10) was an LST2. I ended up converting my LST2 to electric and I bought a XXL to keep as my nitro version. These are still my 2 favorite kits I've ever owned. I have so many hop ups and extra stock parts that I built a complete (minues engine) stock XXL and sold it and I still have all this stuff left.

That sure is a purdy monster truck! I have that same grey lid for mine. I also have a red lid like that as well as a blue/yellow/and white one. :)

Honestly I have only had 3. There was a time when I would have said my Savage X but I got tired of fixing it. The LST2 drives like a truggy with the wrong wheels on it to me. The Octane, LOL.
I would love to have a Mad Crusher.

Traxxas stampede 2wd. In need of a rebuild and add new parts. Body was for my Axial 10.2. I dusted this truck off a few months ago and tossed electronics in.

Trinity motor, old mamba esc, proline body, flm 1/8 chassis. Proline badlands I think up front, m2ks rear.

Chevrons turned around for traction purposes.

I have both the Stampede 4x4 and 2wd in which the wife claimed the 2wd. They are a kick in the arse to run.

Are there RC monster jam rallies? Jumping over a dozen rc cars?
Trigger king rc puts on several shows a year. They have classes all the way from retro stock clod buster and 80s and 90s bodies all the way to unrecognizable custom creations. I stumbled on their YouTube channel and watched a few of the races.

My favourite truck is the Kraton 8s. Before I bought it I considered the X Maxx, but the X Maxx is so unstable. Watch any YouTube we’re there is a comparison with the Kraton 8s and the X Maxx. The X Maxx is always of its wheels. I know it has a self righting button, even the manufacturers knew they had to have a self righting system. I have the EXB roller which I have installed 12s. A Castle 800kv motor and a ZTW Beast ESC. Which after about 30 runs is still going strong. The Kraton only starts to become unstable at about 70mph on grass. I’m still working on the aerodynamics. I have the rear shocks high with the front low. But at top speed the front is trying to raise. Could really do with some sort of wing at the front to keep it down.

Thanks @StonerRC365 I've always wanted an emaxx. Had an original t maxx but never the e maxx lol. I was searching to finally get one when I got my txt-1 instead. Maybe one day I'll end up with an e maxx

I would never use the self righting. In my eyes that was a dumb idea on traxxas. And a $$ maker for traxxas. And that's why you got all these people "new" to the hobby on YT crying about blown diffs.Been in the hobby a long time. It doesn't kill you to walk over and flip it uprite. I agree the Kraton 8s is definitely more stable and sticks to the ground. Shi* I want one also. One day soon I will. But I can launch the X to the sky and if I break the chassis is 20$. Compared to the 250$ aluminum chassis of the Kraton. I'm just not a big fan of aluminum. Adds alot of weight and coast a lot more when broken. But the kraton is a bad a** truck built for speed. In my eyes all about opinion and what floats your boat LOL 😆😅

And the traxxas electronics suck. Always have. Another reason why pep are crying. Because they went to LHS and said I would like to get something to kill time. And saw the Xmaxx and went WOW. I will take it. Then took it home charged the crap batteries thatthey come with in the RTR version. And never checked gears or anything else in fact. Changed it to the 46T and went out to a field and pinned to throttle. And there goes the pinon the spur. Because they set them way too tight at factory. And burnt up their esc because it can't handle the constant power of full throttle. When the HLS should have started the. Out on a 10th scale or smaller for the first time.
