i took my 1.2v 1300mah nimh battery out of my glow ignitor and it seems to be about 1.4V with a multimeter set to vdc.
any idea of the full charge voltage on 1.2v 1300 mah nimh battery?
thx!

1300 mah isn't going to last very long. Get a 4300 mah.

Got a link to the glow heater your using? 1300mah is pretty low for a sub-c NiMH.

I just use a cheap AA heater with 1800-2550mah LSD cells.

Like this:

and these:
https://www.amazon.com/Energizer-Rechargeable-Batteries-Pre-Charged-Universal/dp/B009NEKAEK

This one is decent as it can charge batteries individually and it comes with a 2A PSU:
https://www.amazon.com/18650-Battery-Charger-XTAR-Adapter/dp/B08R88KZJW

Puts out .5A for 4 cells (2 amps total), so could charge up 4x2000mah AA's in 4 hours, or 2 in 2 hours. I usually don't charge my AA's at anything more than .5A though. Many of those purpose built AA 4 cell chargers require you to put cells in in pairs. This one will do any quantity of 1-4 at a time.

1 fully charged 2200mah AA will get me through a break-in day with an engine without a problem. That's a lot of starts in a day on a single charge.
