Of course the basics Failsafe, throttle return spring and fresh gas!!! Other than that it would have to be the Mill!!

Motorsaver air filter, fuel filter and a good racing mill. Also a racing clutch and threaded aluminum shocks you can't not have those. Late

See I did forget the Fuel filter and Motorsaver filter!!

I would have to say my Hardcore Titanium skids... They've been through hell, & haven't bent yet... Hell, they made it through both the East Coast & Winter bashes... Nuff said...

how bout the truck to start with not much of an investment but still a very important component...

:stupid: That was a given!! In fact, we were just talking about what is the best investment for the actual Nitro Ride!!. No worries we still think you are ok.

Strong servos.
Powerfull servos are something you don't know how you ever did without once you replace the stock crappy ones that come on the RTR's. They make your ride turn ohhh so much better, have better throttle response and make it stop like you never knew it could stop before.
Other than that, obviously the engine. The more power the more fun!

MS Filter, fuel filter and failsafe aside. I would have to say from a performance standpoint, the Proline Steering Kit and Airtronics 94358Z steering servo. The difference after I put these on my Maxx was like night and day. A close second would be the 2100mah NiMH receiver pack.

OH yeah I must also say a nice hump pack or receiver pack wow what a difference it makes to even stock servos. A nice charger isn't bad to have either. Late

Couldn't narrow it down to just one. So it's got to be......

failsafe
starterbox
diff oil (Storm diffs come greased-man what a difference it makes)
good set of tires (knuckles)
fuel filter

High Airflow airfilter
Fuel filter
and The MSR4 Piggybacks I have on my maxx..
an as GBQ said good servos

I would have to say

Motor saver air filter
Masher tires
JR XS3
and my hs-5645 hi torque servo I have is worth all the money.

ohh my god I forgot my sirio that is proably the best hop up for my max I have.

You can't forget the tires on the storm whew that was a load off...damn i need a fail safe it has got away from me twice already. Anyone willing to make a donations tot he RASF(Run Away Storm Foundation)..Every year Storms are becoming less and less controlled by their radio control holding host. This is do to a fact that many storm owners can't afford failsafes. Do the right thing and donate. Stay tuned for more of Will And Grace here on NBC....Think I got a future in this? :OT:

lol ya man and id say my composite rear shock tower. standed up to sum hell man and i can't really say my rpms yet(they one the way) but thats it
