I had chocolate ice cream the day I painted this Talion body. Vanilla while I put on decals.

This is Tropical Glitz spray paint. OVERCAST
Backed with Tamiya clear.

This thread can be when working on a RC, or not. Any time you have ice cream, post it!
Schweeeeeet-because I’m too anal retentive to do both simultaneously…😅

Had some Oreo ice cream will working out some templates for a front splitter. Paper CAD scale printout. Cardboard template. Then a plexiglass template I heated & bent. Now to make one out of aluminum. I have a pc of 4mm 7075. I've machined 7075 but never bent it. I've read it's really not bendable without lots of heat & press force. Might have to go to 2024 'bendable' aluminum which is a PITA to machine. Very gummy.

Whoo-Hoo! After some studying, I found this pc of 1/8" 5052 aluminum for $8. It's bendable & has the strength of 6061. Cool. Pc should be here by end of week.
