Heh, here's my story.

Was a high steel construction superintendant. Walked beams and showed my crew what to do. Scheduled concrete framing electrical etc.

My wife had two heart surgerys So I started building computers for a living. The bottom dropped out of that market with the coming of E-machines. So I opened up my own ISP.

My upstream provider decided not to pay for his space in the COM room at Avista I later found out he took all the money saved it and went to amsterdam (never came back) his bill was near $20k.. needless to say I lost my equiptment and my ISP.

Then I went to doing network setup and support. I got diagnosed with rheumetoid arthritis, and couldn't drive any more so I started buying and selling antiques on the net.

Now I am finding I am making more money buying and selling than I ever did in any of my previous careers and I only work whenever I have the inclination or motivation.

I also found out my arthritis was an allergery to wheat that was misdiagnosed :D I got my life back,I spend 100% of the kids out of school time with them, and my wife and I hang out all day. I Love it.

I'm an electrician, employed by a company here in Charlotte. I wire custom multimillion dollar homes. It's fun to see the high end of the spectrum. The largest home I've wired was over 17,000 heated square feet, over 21,000 total.

I make my boss lots of money while I am vastly underpaid and need a raise badly! My goal is to work for myself have my own company in the next 5 years.

RC is the only thing that keeps me sane.

I steal nitro R/C cars from people who dredge up threads that are over 2 years old, and I sell them on the internet.
