The test was dynoed at the front wheels. Dude your all talk as my Saab runs mid 14's. I have raced it countless times in Sac and L.A. in a REAL race ccircut called CMI racing (California Modified Imports) I did all the work on my car from rebuilding the Carrlson engine to adjusting the waste gate to installing the new computer. You would hate to see what the claimed hp is on my crank. The haven't horsepower rated cars like that since the 70's so you live in the past. Why would I want to take off my turbo? I can show you a naturally aspirated Saab 900 4wd 4 cyl with over 700hp so suck on that tail pipe. And when did an RX7 ever come into this conversation????? Did it come in because your little integra wasn't good enough? Lets see some pics of these vehicles and engine shots, I can do the same if you want to see my REAL car. On the RX7 topic they rock and I can't argue with you there as the Winner of the last 4 years of CMI racing was done by Adam Sawutari in his 98 rotarty twin turbo RX7 and he was running 8's so I can't touch that.

this has turned into one of those pissing matches I always find myself getting sucked into so your Integra is better so we will just leave it at that or at least I will. Good chatting with you and I hope we took it all in fun:thumbup:

here's a fun site if you have the time to see what Saab's are really made of and can do because most people (the ones who have never driven them) just think there a yuppy sedan which couldn't be farther from the truth. http://www.abbottracing.com/

I run these companies parts though as Abott's were more pricey and have to be shipped over seas

I run the "red series" head

I also run their Kevlar clutch, in case anyone is shooting at it :)

I would love to have a collecting hobby. My problem is where the heck to put everything. New York has such restricted living space. I wanna collect Gundams general Japanese models but can't put them anywhere. :)

i like to explore old mines in the desert, i have a friend who was taught by the Cal. search & rescue, & went to classes on using ropes & such, he's good, been doing it all his life. There are mines out there w/up to 9 levels, 1 called the underground city, most of these are kept kinda secret so taggers & people just out to destory can't find them & arn't looked upon to kindly. my bud has been down over 600 ft. in 1 to level 5, been back 1/2 dozen times, sees different things each time, like old loader cars still on the tracks, desks, chairs, equipment, old news papers, cans, after all who wants to carry that back up 600 ft. on a rope, he found a room full of goverment boxes of biscut mix & 55 gal drums of water stored there since the 60s during the cold war, not a good place to go in alone or un-trained, but talk about going back in time, nothing changes, temps & conditions remain the same all year, were talking 1850 & up

Theres a guy in New York who explores all kinds of lost aspects of the city the way it was years ago. Abandoned subway lines and railroads, old hospital buildings, ancient painted-on advertising on the sides of office buildings ... check out http://www.forgotten-ny.com/ . :)

Gundam level 5, lol I like those commercials. I would buy one but don't know where to. Living space must be tuff in NYC I don't think I could ever get used to that be a California boy. Everyone has a yard and its big and %70 precent have pool in that yard. There's just more room out here and less people.

It must be very hard to run ur RC in the big city? Dunno how u do it.

Hey blazer..you are a always fun but you know what everyone take s pride in their cars. You could say this And I would retort. fact isthere are people out there that have the same car and spend so much time at it that they can easily have the same car but their engine puts out a hell of a lot more.. I dig miy ride and you dig yours.I never said your car sucked just not on my wish list .I know a person that has a POS Caravan that runs tens!!! I have been in this type of conversation numerous times and no one ever wins.Let's just enjoy the scene of imports cuz that is what is all about. The racing crews are cocky but alltogether we appreciate a well built ride. I am not going to argue with you anymore so  let's just be cool

what year is this guys caravan? I quit the drag circuit back in 96..no money. I competed but the more money you have the better a car you can have. I drove an old 91 hatchback that I could only do low 12's but I couldn't get her to do more. It was ugly but fast enough for me on the street. I spent money on an engine I threw a rod through the block. I sold that ride after I fixed that problem. I dream of owning a supra..they are just cool.I recently tried street racing a tuborcharged new lancer evo. He beat me:trout: but only by one car length. That really sucked. He was cool though ..Those things pump out 276 Horses. I alomost want one now...

Hell man, nothing beats the performance of an Classic Musscle Car, got my self one, 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, Ill pass anything on the highway except the gas station. But with those ricers, most people (kids) just put body kits on them neons and loud poopy music, and call it a race car, why? I've beaten most of them in my 90 Bronco II, and thats tuned for off-road, not race.
Sad isn't it.

Well, if you shove the new chevy engine into a First or Second Gen Mustang or a classic like a GTO, you can beat almost all ricers. They usually have about 100lbs of graphics and 100lbs of body kit. Their interior must weight about 99lbs alone!

And then we'll take those crappy little rice burners to an auto-x against your big hunky 442 69 oldsmobile cutlass and see which one is faster.

There is just so much more to be said for a 'big hunky 442 oldsmobile cutlass' though.

And I've seen a few that would kick the poop out of almost any rice burner I have ever seen.

There is always something faster than something else. It just all at the end of the day depends on how much you want to spend combined with the risk you are willing to take. Its really that simple.

I have no doubt that some would kick the poop outta rice burners. There's no replacement for displacment. But racing isn't all about straight line speed. 1/4 mile is for fast cars, road courses are for fast drivers.

Hunky is right, my car is weighing 3,800 pounds, but it has its "torque" to back it up, something the ricers dont have. Right now with the 350 in her, shes pushing 345 horses and 518 foot pounds at the rears, all under 3500 RPM. Hell most stock 60's-70's muscle cars could almost beat anything today that was modifed. And I'm not saying that all imports are slow, some of them can move once you pour 30k into them. But when kids get addicted to fast and furious and go out and buy a civic add a fart tube and call it a race car, is it really? No, its just adding weight to the little economy car and putting strain on the engine. Worthless.....

Oh and blazer, where the hell did you get that pic of ovalqueen?
And whats the deal with it, just wondering?

I play guitar, keyboard, clairnet, marching band, school band, and a punk rock band. other than that i listen to punk rock music lol. and sleep alot

To start off i am 15 and have lots of time on my hands until I'm 18 when i go military, but i have 3 years to do these things
Well let me see theres lots um i used t be in a punk rock band and i played bass and i still play bass, i love to go backpacking, camping , fishing ,hunting,i used to skate but dont really any more and then there is my baby she is second to my rc car and it is my paintball gun cause i love paintballing but unlike a lot of people i play speedball not in the woods. here is a pic of my gun i have like over a grand into it. its my second pride and joy! We used to have a team and we went amature but then one guy moved so it kind of set things back until we can get someone else who was as good as he was. Plus i like to mess eith my computer and i play games and GUNS, guns are a fav of mine anything that will shoot, i like it and i happen to have a bushmaster M4 carbine myself and it is a member of the M16 family a short version.

Paintbal gun
It is a center feed autococker and runs off a carbon fiber aluminum tank and 4500 psi and will shoot like 9 balls per second cause my trigger pull is only like 4 mm. But that is my fingers so other people might shoot slower or faster.
The record is 21 BALLS PER SECOND its amazing and it is Rocky Cagnoni, he is awsome!

My best friends mom when I was growing up had a 68 (I think) 442. The thing was ALL BALLS. She let us take it out when I got my license, and me and him used to cruise it around Frisco (S.F.) all the time. Most people thought the 442 stould for the engine size, but it meant 4 barrel carb, 4 on the floor, and 2 (dual exhuast). I am deffinetly a fan of that car.
