I moved into a house and found this RC car in my attic! I have never played with one before and didnt know anything about them.

I took it to a local Hobby shop. He didnt tell me much about it, and mentioned it was different, he hadnt seen one like this one with a chain drive? And they told me the engine was froze up, pull cord wouldnt pull at all. They told me I could take it apart and clean it and see if it would turn. I got it cleaned up and the motor freed up!

Did research online figuring out what to do and how to do it... It has an hpi 21bb motor, about all I know. Long story short, I got it running! I found some new info on this site for tuning it, so I will try that next. But I just wanted to know, what is it? What is it worth? I figured Id get it running, get some video of me chasing my roosters with it, then sell it. :hehe:

There were 6 bodies in the attic too, extra batteries that I dont know what are for, a frame? extra tires...

I am still looking for and reading information on how to use it.
I havent figured out, how to shut it off! ??
Where do I hold on to it, while trying to pull start it?

When I tried to restart it yesterday, it wouldnt start, I think the glow plug ignitor wasn't getting it hot enough. ??

I was elated that it started at all, with all that I did to it, and knowing nothing! :)

Thanks!

:whhooo: Some people have all the luck lol

Don't bargain on it being worth much though

looks like you have a custom maid job there, and the other frame looks like the frame to those hpi savage bodies you have.
good luck with it.

to shut it off, pinching the fuel line is what i do, or you can put something over the muffler.

You have yourself a frankenstein custom RC put together from various RC's.

I can see a Kyosho Nitro Mad Force 3 speed with chain drive mounted to the mill.

Rear axle, trailing arms, shocks and wheelie bar looks like they are from the Mad Force as well.

I want that its amazing ! HOW MUCH AND WHERE IS IT!

Just a thought here but it looks like it was setup for tractor pulling but id have to see the gear ratio for that but it also wouldnt need a 3 speed tranny but it definately is cool looking,id keep it and just have some fun with it.

i think its a custom made tractor puller....it looks like some from vids on youtube....just type in rc tractor puller...

The chassis in the picture is from a Kyosho Nitro Mad Force.

I would keep it!!!!!!!!!!! It will be worth playing with for sure! You might even catch the rc bug and want more!! Good luck and have fun!;)

Cool guys, thanks. :) I really dont have time (or money) to put into it. I just wanted to get it running to play with it - get a video chasing chickens or something then sell it. It would be cool to keep and play, but it is like any hobby... ;)

What would be a starting price I could ask for it? I really have no clue.

I tried starting it last night after setting the 3 speed needles to the specs I found. It started for only a minute, spitting fuel out the muffler, rear wheels were turning kinda fast. I assume that wouldnt be right. I have no idea what to adjust or how!

I am in Florida, make me an offer I can't refuse smithy. :)

Ah... just found some awesome info on this site, for tuning. I will try some of these things now that I have some info!

What a lucky sob! The only thiing I found when I bought my house was that one of the ceiling fans was held in with duct tape(WTF). It fell down about 2am and scared the crap out of my son(it was in his room).
