Nope Revo , it's not a rag top, although many were produced, mine is the hardtop. And it has been sitting many years sadly, It seems I have too many irons in the fire, lol.

I love the Newport. I had a boyfriend who had one. They move. I loved that car, not the boyfriend but the car. I'll also take that charger off your hands. I knew someone who had a Roadrunner. I forget the year. It was red with white leather interior-ragtop. I was at his house drinking and he decided he was going to take it out for a drive. He totaled it the same day he bought it. What a dumbass! It was a beautiful car.
I'm also a fan of the corvette, camaro 67-69. I could go on and on. I'm very jealous, Jeep. I assumed that because your name was Jeep, that you had a jeep or liked them. I'm a huge fan of jeeps. I love the CJ's -nice round headlights. They look so cool lifted with big mudders on them. I own a jeep cherokee - unfortunatly it's not lifted. My father had a model A and one day he was working on it in the garage. He started it up and it flew backwards! He ended up in the backseat holding the steering wheel. He hopped out and saw he had crushed all our bikes. Not us thank god. Anyway, when my mother came flying out the door, she freaked on him cause he could have killed one of us if we were in the garage. Needless to say, that car was gone in days. My mom was so mad at him. It's hilarious now though.

Sure, ask me something that happened years ago after drinking and $oking! You are going to make me look dumb. I think it was a 400 something. 440? Big mother engine in it. White ragtop, white leather interior, red exterior - standard of course. 4 speed I think. I don't know the gearing in the rear.
It was a fast mother$ucker! That's all I can remember. I don't know my cars that well. Now that you mention it, I had a friend who had a Belmont. It was a really early model. Blue, hardtop-61 I think. I would love to have one of those restored.

It runs and drives, I just want a new header so I can run the exhaust in a more traditional fashion (sp?). Bought new foam tires and the exhaust the way it is will rub against the tires. Plus I want to be able to actually run a body with the car.
