I build custom fishing rods like 1 a year just finished one last week going to test it out tomorrow will upload pics then one of my uncles a pro kayak bass fisher so I’m ganna get a fishing kayak and we will go out together also do some hunting and stuff ride pit bikes I’m getting a 50cc the 20 or the 21 this month just to rip around the yard nothing crazy and hope to get a kids razor rsf650 and put a 50mph kit in it the kit says it should go 50mph for about 1 and a half hours so that will be fun to rip around town also like to collect rare coins might cash some in soon probably got a couple grand worth of coins
I bought it as a cosmetic wreck with 3K miles and rebuilt it. The performance was on another level to say the least, 106mph on the limiter in 1st gear lol. I know that sounds ridiculous to the cement truck riders but google that poop. I only had it on the top speed limiter once at 186mph. I won't lie,it was wonderful and terrifying at the same time.
I roasted many a "fast" bike with it. View attachment 144802

You should take this post with a grain of salt because I'm from Maine and we're the sort of people who have belt sander drag races in the bars up north so...

I have an extreme interest in politics. I trace it all back to my high School days watching the whole Watergate/Nixon disaster. These days all that seems pretty tame compared to the lunacy were dealing with now.
It wasn't.
It was huge and changed this country.

Did I mention reading "1984" in 1973 as a 16yo and now watching some of that insanity actually come true, normalized and slipped in the backdoor almost as described all those years ago.
Laugh it up and dismiss it all you want, it's here so pay attention.
Especially troubling to my generation is this racial "do over" we're having. That shameful bullshit was fought out a long time ago and it cost some good people dearly. I'll never understand why all that got dredged up again. Imagine being one of the most open minded and accepting people all your life but now I'm the straight, white, male terrorist in the eyes of people I've never met because of a t-shirt or a bumper sticker. Try that one on for size, you won't like it either.

It's shocking sometimes how little people know or actually understand.

I hear you there. I lost interest in mine several months ago but I actually played over 5 hours today. It felt right for a change.
I'm not that good but I like to jam along with backing tracks.
I see you are in Rogue river country?
Yes sir! 100% Pure Oregoniclly grown. You from around here? I'm the same way, like to play for personal sanity plus much cheaper then therapy... which is odd because my ex despised me buying guitars but always said I should see a therapist? Her logic never made sense. I could never talk any sense into her logically! It was a

No, I'm on the Idaho/Oregon border 20 miles north from Ontario in Weiser Idaho.
I'm one of the lucky ones my wife looks up at the wall and says, I need a certain color to fill the space.:thumbs-up:

I might not understand that first eyelet from the spinning reel - isn't it supposed to be a rather large opening due to the design of the reel?

Yes but this one is a special newer design so it casts smother and further
I'm guessing it's some sort of funneling design for farther casting.
Correct

I enjoy shooting. This is my EDC, but I’ve got a few 1911s, and others, that enjoy shooting.

And one of my favorite things to do is showing livestock with my daughter. I’m going to really miss this after next year. We travel all over the place, showing pigs, and she’s very good at it.

@69fastback - love the Stang! Have owned quite a few in my day. My first car was a '65 coupe.
Thanks. It’s a fun car that I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Still a full interior car that’s been 9.62@140, on pump gas, with a small block, and still has a hydraulic cam. I drive it everywhere.

That's pretty impressive! What engine you running? My fastest one only ran 12's. Nothing too crazy. All bolt-ons.

It’s a 408W. Nothing wrong with running some 12s in a street car, especially back in the day. I had another ‘69 that was a high 11 second car that ended up getting wrecked. We took that engine out and put it in my buddies ZX3 Focus, with some nitrous, and took it to the high 9s. That car was kind of fun.

Mine was sold by my ex when I was stationed over seas.

i repair old amps, i specialize in u.s. and korean 2channel class a/b amps personally, and i also design enclosures for audiophiles using formulas and parameters you just wouldn't believe how in depth the math is in my enclosure designs...I also build custom subwoofers but haven't since before covid hit, due to some crucial parts and materials unable to obtain easily and prices soared.

the amp in picture is all my design i have tinkered with for years here and there.
