Hahaha she loves me long time:D

I actually bought a trailer crank and some steel tubing. I'm going to weld up a hoist system and make it easy to load.
I have a kayak rack for my truck already but this kayak is bigger.
I'll mount the removable hoist on the front rack. I'm also open to suggestions.;) This is how I hauled them last year but again this new one is pretty heavy for my old arse. When we go out without the camper then I'll just load them up on my ATV trailer.

nice set up

I used to surf, but something about white water just intimidates me.

As I've gotten older I've started to recognize my mortality. I haven't been in whitewater in the last five years. I think that was actually my last trip(Shenendoah/Potomac). There was a time when my friends and I would go quite often, there are tons of whitewater rivers in my area. Dug up a few photos of some of the ones we've run:

Do you have any passions/hobbies/things you enjoy doing other than RC

Mine:

Music
(Someday ima be a christian rapper. You will all be bragging that you knew me before I was famous! LOL JK)

Taking things apart and seeing how they work
(When I was 2 i took apart a clock)
pc gaming
owning rabbits
collecting knives
collecting Lego sets
sleeping
listening to music
fishing
swimming
I want to get a dirt bike and to restore a car but that is for later

Picked a good weekend to be waiting for RC tires. One of my other outdoor hobbies besides RC is birding. This weekend is The Great Backyard Bird Count. Four days, Fri-Mon, identifying, counting birds and submitting on-line reports.

Kind of a good break. Haven't done this count since 2010. Spotting birds using binoculars is a perishable skill. Re-training in progress. Cheers. 'AC'

@ahr43 I enjoy shooting birds......with my camera silly! I didn't real realize how many species were in our area until I got back into photography and started capturing some images. Was thinking about shooting some pics next weekend as it's been a while.

Yeah, California, Texas and Florida have more species than any of the other states. That and they are migratory paths for birds as well. Bird photography is a sub-skill all its own. Never got into it myself, but truly appreciate the skill others have. 'AC'

We have a state park up the road from me that has a nature center with a bird feeding area. I have seen lots of birds here in Indiana, but never the variety they have flocking to their feeders. I was surprised as well how many different birds we have here.

Dude, that is freaking awesome!

I tried my hand at photography....which lasted about 15min. I was reading through my wife's "Canon.....for Dummies!" Then, I realized there was just way too much info. I went back to playing with my fidget spinners.

There is a bit of a learning curve, but photography one of the things that gets me out in nature. We went out to lunch today and stopped by the local botanical garden today, nice and peaceful, lots of critters to watch. I also love airshows for photography.

I just build real poop but that gets expensive too smh 🤦
