  1. Bashing
got finished up at work early today so i thought great, time to get the rcs out and do a bit of tuning and bashing. Took my rustler out first and after 20mins or so she was running sweet until i flipped it and the back bearing carrier snaps at the bottom wish bone mount. So i figure ah well it wont be a problem il order a new part when i get home so i throw it in the boot and grab my s maxx. Now iv just up graded it from the 2.5 to the 3.3 so i still needed to fine tune it but its basically sorted and is a flying machine, so i take it out run it round for a bit to get it warmed up and all is grand till i hit the goal posts, head on and snap the front shock tower.
I should of just stayed at work :(

I have that . I always get that happen to me . Go out on a monday or early after work . And something breaks . Go out at the weekend and hammer it . Nothin breaks lol .

on closer inspection it was the bulkhead that snapped not the shock tower........i should really learn to drive

No matter how you drive something will still break
. I call mine the omen lol. Gives me nothin but hell sometimes lol .

Well, there's your problem. You can't be stuffing things the size of a Rustler into something as small as a boot, it's too hard on all the plastic bits flexing each time. :p:

JK man, I know what you meant. Sounds like not only would it have been cheaper to stay at work, you would have been getting paid as well. But I bet it wouldn't have been as fun.

Ouch lol. In my case I have no job so if something breaks I buy a monster energy and do some open rig surgery

."i should really learn to drive" now how would that be fun?

Thats why women refuse when they drive their cars

all hail ebay............ replacement parts all ordered, should be here soon so i can get back out and break something else

Last fall, I was out in the field with my maxx, I ran it full throttle into a tree pushed in the bumper (and to my surprise, nothing else was broken), flipped over into a 3 foot deep hole that was filled right to the top with water. I thought that was the end for this thing! I brought it home undid all of the cases, took out the glow plug and started blow drying it with my wifes blowdryer. It took me a couple of hours but it still works today and I havnt had to replace anything, I thought that the motor would be toast...man these things can take alot

They sure has hell can take a poundin my conrod snapped and locked my piston didnt mark the barrel but half the skirt of the piston snapped off . And mine still runs perfect with a f'd piston lol .

I know how it feels to break the bulkhead and skid plate. In my case it was a jeep tire. didnt even run an 1/8 tank of fuel that day. On payday i went to the lhs to get the parts only to find out they were the wrong ones when I got home. Had to to order the right ones, theres another week but when I put them on it was all good. When I went to the lhs to buy a used parts car they already sold it. The kids took it outside and it started right up and ran good. Missed out on that deal but still have a good XXX NT and havnt broke anything lately woo hoo.

I agree if you dont break something you werent having enough fun!!!! I dont come in till something is broken. and alot of times right back out the door with another one till they all need some work... Now thats a good day 6 broken rigs and one halfway running l.o.l!!!!!! Have fun.,....

I'm always breaking something, well at least on my stock parts trucks I am, the upgraded trucks seem to take a good bashin now a days...

Its always good to have ALOT of parts on hand, I know I got just about 1 or 2 of every part on the tmaxx/smaxx... Wanna play hard, gotta have the stuff to keep em running...
