Location:

The cam is located at Nkoro Bush Lodge in the prestigious Sabi Sands Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park, in South Africa. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is named after two rivers that cut through this area, namely the Sabie and Sand River systems. The area is renowned for its wildlife and in particular the big five, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. It is rated as one of the best reserves in Africa to see these large animals in there natural habitat and in particular leopard. Its not all about the big animals and the Sabi Sands has plenty of other smaller animals that call this place there home.

Nkoro pan is located in the North Eastern corner of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, and about 1km (0.62 miles) from the unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. The Pan is situated at the bottom of an open plain, about 250m from Nkoro Bush Lodge and is frequented by a number of resident animals, in particular is the resident herd of wildebeest and impala and a family of warthogs that can often been seen drinking and wallowing in the mud at the pan. The camera is located on top of a termite mound on the Eastern side of the pan and looks Westerly when viewing the pan.

Still watching it.... I may play that to put my youngest to sleep.

OMGOMG Someone moved the camera and started searching for animals and they zoomed in on a bird, and then there was a cayote!!! They were moving the camera and keeping up with it... man I forgot to take a pic, damnit.

ok they are moving it again RIGHT NOW

yea i dunno what the whole enjoyment out of this is, but it does seem addicting. You know its prob just in the middle of mexico somewhere and not really in Africa.

What the hell the camera is moving now. Who is controlling this stuff. All i see is dead things.

That's not an African water hole, it's Mr. T-Maxx's bath tub!

Then admit that your "Big Feelin' City-Slicker Ass" is jealous of the swimming pool here in the "Non-Static Residential Facility" AKA Mobile Home Park;)

If you think about it, I would love to be by that water hole. I don't see any gridlock, nagging bosses, mortgage payments, cellphone addicts, idiot clients, dirty bathrooms, bitchey spouses, interruptive political calls, smoggy air, whiney children, annoying in-laws, construction equipment, Oprah, calendars, to-do lists and anything else that we think make life so easy.

I see relaxation...and I would like to enjoy it, at least once.

@ 3:30 AM EST I saw a couple deer/antelope looking animals meandering around.

Ah, very cool! Looks like a young antelope getting some grub! Someone's moving the camera as well.

The wildebeasts are there, too!
