Ways to reduce rc temps?

So my arrma vortek is great but the batteries don’t last to long in 100 degree weather. Maybe 10-20 minutes Some ways I’ve thought of reducing temps are smaller pinion gear, cut a hole in the wind shield of the body(is prefer not to as the body is still really nice), maybe find better fans that push more air. Any other ideas?

Tire size and weight, driving style, heat sink and or heat sink eith a fan.

Where are you running? If its offroad, maybe on road can help. If its onroad, maybe a surface away from concrete can help. Concrete holds heat.

everything running stock? what kind of surfaces are you running on? havent really seen many have issues with temps on the vorteks yet. might try double checking all the bearings, make sure everything is spinning smoothly without resistance. might knock down the pinion gear a tooth or two.

The 2 easiest ways to lower temps are smaller pinion/bigger spur gear, Dropping a cell on the Lipos you're using, and/or you can do like I do. I generally put a bunch of small holes in the windshield of my body to help with get fresh air inside the kit. On nicer lids Ill try to drill a pattern of some sort so it doesn't look like a hack job. Adding a fan or two to your motor can help a bit with motor temps but more so when the kit is stopped or going low speeds. After that would be more expensive things like lower KV motor and/or higher amperage ESC. beyond these things here I'm not sure theres much else you can do. Generally most people dont need to resort to expensive fixes like beffier electronics. Most people can get where they need to be with 1 or more of the first 3 steps.
