first off if iam beating a dead horse, go ahead and flame me. i have die-hard nimh a-a bats for my glow plugs, and the charger for them. i was testing bats by putting them into the glow ignitor and puting a lc-3 plug in. i found that a 1.2 bat didnt glow very bright, but a 1.3 glowed very good. and i found i could recharge the low voltage bat and bring then up to 1.3. some were even 1.39. the voltmeter is your friend.

Remember that 1.2v is a nominal voltage under load for a NiCd or NiMH battery.

no racer iam charging ni-mh bats it just seams that some bats charge fully but for the same amount of time others dont charge as much.

Glowplugs are made to handle 1.5V cells.

That said, I juse NiMH AA's in my heater. I don't pay much attention to how much one cell glows over another as I charge a 4 pack with my peak charger and I charge the cell in the holder with my peak charger as well.

sounds like theirs more than one way to charge bats. thanks for the ideas.
