Been off forum on vacation. Menahga, Minnesota visiting Sharon's extended Finnish family. 3000mi round trip in the trusty Ford Explorer Sport Trac.
Coming back stopped at 'High Banks Hall of Fame & National Midget Auto Racing Museum' in Belleville, Kansas. What a cool place. Brought back a lot of memories. Took loads of photos. First midget VW powered; second, my favorite engine, an Offy-powered midget.
While in Minnesota, Sharon and I visited one of her cousins on a farm nearby. He uses three Oliver tractors, which I am not familiar with. So took some images there too.
Long arse trip, but glad I did it. So many neat things to see along the way. Whole lot cooler temperatures too-which was a relief. Regrets, no room for the RC's on the trip. Maybe next time.
