is it possible to turn a monster truck into a truggy? i have a 1/10th scale redcat volcano s30 is it possible to turn it into a truggy ? has anyone ever turned any monster trucks into truggys any brands how well did it work etc

I think looks wise with that truck you can accomplish it. and it actually from the stock ride height looks like it can pull it off.. It may not have a stance as wide as a truggy but i think looks wise you can do it.

A flat chassis is just that, flat. That's the main characteristic of a truggy or buggy. The also have a spur gear mounted directly to a center diff instead of a full tranny.

You could make it look like a truggy, but it'll never actually be one.

thats really what i want is it to have the lower widered stance of a truggy i really like there stances hopefully it can be done ... if not my next buy is defanatly gonna be a truggy i dont think its gonna be redcat though even though i like there monsoon truggy but I've been looking at a lot of LOSI product i like there products but some of there truggys I'm not sure about though I'm also considereing to get a elecitric car to ? are the trucks buggys and truggys just as fast as nitros ?

the electric cars are actually faster nowdays with the brushless lipo powered cars. i just like nitro personally but i mean if you just want a faster car electric cars are very fast. I just dont like how quite it is.. i actually like tuning, the sound, the smell... i personally see no downside to nitro.

yeah i understand i just want something easy also i really like hpi truggys ... i want a electric though i think not really sure though i want a 1/8th or 1/10th for sure but it seems like if i havce some thing that big i should just go nitro seems a better fit for them but anything smaller seems good for electric I'm really ready to get into this hobby i jus wish i had enough money to buy them all !

please forgive my ignorance(not been at this long normally fly planes and helis) what is the difference between the 2 ?..truck and truggy...

Truggies and buggies have a flat chassis and the driveline is on top of that chassis. The chassis is smooth on the bottom with no parts sticking down. Instead of a transmission, they have a center differential with a spur gear mounted to it. The engine drives this spur gear directly from the clutch bell on the engine.

Truugies and buggies handle way better than any monster truck ever could.
