Oh yea, stock is definatly great, I'm gettin another one to keep that way, but there is nothing like the feeling of seeing that thing take off almost out of sight in an instant.

anything i should do before i run mine? does moter need breakin period or can i go full out first run?

you should worry more about your batteries more than your motor. They will not reach their full energy holding potential untill they are cycled a couple of times. Besides that, just plug in and go. Just remember this. Brushed motors are cheap. If you f-it up, you can get a new one for a few bucks.

he means they wont have a long run time till after a few charges and runs... they get better after a few runs

anyone see that vid on youtube where the slash jumps 2 cars?was posted today

will any 1/10 body fit on the slash?i was wanting a VW lid

can a brushless slash owner put up a pic of where you mounted the ESC? i'm about to order one, but i dont think it will fit in the reciever box

The Slash sucks.

Okay, I am just messing with you guys! Everyone knows the Slash rules! Now the Slayer is a different story... But that is for a different forum...

is it waterproof?

The receiver is. That is to say it's in a waterproof box.

The esc does not go in the reciever box....... but ill post a pic. hang on.

Wanna know what I am hanging onto?

Negative. I think only the Traxxas stock one is "waterproof". I've never heard of a brushless waterproof esc.

hows the mamba handle the water ansd mud?

Dont plan on running in those conditions. Thats y I'm gettin another stock one to screw around in the water and mud with.
